Utah's first lady thanks foster families with kits of donated goods

Today, Utah's first lady Abby Cox is handing out thank-you kits to Utah foster families in Utah County.
The gesture is part of Cox's "Show Up Utah" initiative which brings together volunteers, schools, organizations and businesses to focus on showing kids what service and empathy are all about.
Up to 321 Utah County foster families are expected to receive the kits, which will be handed out in a "drive-through" style in the Community Action Services parking lot in Provo.
The kits were put together by the First Lady’s team and board, as well as Gov. Cox’s senior staff and cabinet members, at the First Lady’s initiative launch event on April 27.
