US envoys work for hostage release deal, scale-down of Israe

CIA head William Burns headed to Poland on Monday for talks with the head of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency and Qatar’s PM, while Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin was in Tel Aviv to meet Israeli officials.
