'Our Pineapple Dream has turned into a Pineapple nightmare,' Bright Brewery marketing manager Laura Gray said.
'We really pushed the boundaries with this beer, adding 30 per cent pineapple juice to the brew, and every time you add a non-traditional ingredient to beer, you increase the risk of something going wrong.
An urgent recall was issued on the Pineapple Dream Nitro Milkshake Ale beer product amid fears it could explode
'It is also important to note that there is no health risk (to customers) if the beer has been consumed.'
The popular brewery beer is widely sold at retailers in the likes of NSW, Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia.
