Our votes are especially critical to protecting and advancing social, economic and racial justice, immigration reform and climate action, especially as these issues affect women. The Upper Cape Women's Coalition Steering Committee has voted to endorse a candidate for the Select Board in Mashpee. This endorsement is based on a candidate response to questions posed by UCWC members in an online interview and assessment of the candidate’s positions on issues of concern as reported on candidate websites The members of the Upper Cape Women’s Coalition are united in endorsing Marie Stone, candidate for a seat on the Mashpee Select Board in the May 8 town election. She is dedicated, as we are, to safeguarding the rights of all women and to building a community that is equitable and inclusive.
