May 25, 2021 >>U-P-M-C Drops Pinnacle From Its Name (Harrisburg, PA) -- U-P-M-C is officially dropping Pinnacle from its name. The name change will affect three Harrisburg-area hospitals including the Harrisburg Hospital, Community Osteopathic and the West Shore Hospital. The decision to drop the name comes after U-P-M-C bought Pinnacle back in 2017.
