[email protected] IRON MOUNTAIN — The Upper Peninsula jobless rate was unchanged in March, remaining at 6.5%, according to data released by the Michigan Department of Technology Management & Budget. Dickinson County’s not seasonally adjusted rate of 5.2% compared to 5.1% in February and 5% in March 2020. Iron County’s jobless rate of 6.8% in March was also nearly unchanged from February, when it was 6.7%, but down slightly from 7.1% a year ago. “Michigan regional jobless rates displayed little change in March,” said Wayne Rourke, associate director of the Bureau of Labor Market Information and Strategic Initiatives. The Michigan jobless rate of 5.2% in March was up from 5.1% in February and 4.5% a year ago.
