A man and his wife in UP's Pilibhit district allegedly murdered their 25-year-old married daughter for her money and jewellery.

The incident took place in Rooppur Krapa village within the jurisdiction of Sungarhi police station.
The victim's husband alleged that police initially did not take any action on his complaint.
Four people, including the victim's parents, have been charged with murder, intentional hurt and criminal intimidation under the Indian Penal Code.
