Christchurch teacher Denise Robinson-Winskill was run over twice by her husband in the driveway of their home in 2013. Police have not closed the file.
Seven years after Denise Robinson-Winskill was killed by her husband as he reversed his flat-deck truck, the investigation remains open. Sam Sherwood revisits the case.
Denise Robinson-Winskill was in the sheep pen taking some photographs of a newborn lamb when her husband, Jon Winskill, beckoned her over to help.
It was about 7.30pm, October 23, 2013. The 56-year-old spraying contractor was on his truck, a 1980 Toyota Land Cruiser flat deck, filling the tanks with water, and needed his wife to turn the valve tap off. Denise, 58, wearing pyjamas, gumboots and a raincoat, struggled but managed to turn it off.
