April 1, 2021 The United Way Blackhawk Region is launching a one-stop shop website to help answer questions about the COVID-19 vaccine and where to sign up for a shot. United Way President and CEO Mary Fanning-Penny says the sheer volume of information and websites is making it difficult for people to know where to begin. Fanning-Penny says RockCountyShot.com will answer questions like vaccine safety, how to begin, and links to provider registries. The site is being funded in part by a $10 thousand grant from the United Way’s COVID-19 Action Fund.
