The graduate transfer waited to get a clear look at the cage, then fired in the game-winner with 1:38 left in overtime to nudge top-seeded North Carolina past Rutgers 12-11 in an NCAA quarterfinal at Shuart Stadium. Lance Tillman scored four goals after entering the game with five on the season for the Tar Heels (13-2). North Carolina will face fourth-seeded Virginia (12-4) in the semifinals next Saturday in East Hartford, Conn., the teams’ third meeting of the season.
