Ukraine quits int'l energy agreements concluded within CIS framework KYIV. Dec 17 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government approved a draft resolution on Ukraine's secession from international energy cooperation agreements concluded within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) at a meeting on Wednesday. According to the document, Ukraine withdraws from the Mining Charter of the Commonwealth of Independent States dated March 27, 1997, the Agreement on the Coordination of Interstate Relations of the CIS Member States in the Field of Peaceful Use of Atomic Energy dated May 31, 2013, the Agreement on the Coordination of Interstate Relations of the CIS Member States in the Field of Electric Power dated February 14, 1992, and the Agreement on Basic Principles of Cooperation in Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy dated June 26, 1992.
