UK Coronavirus: Man rides jet ski from Scotland to Isle of Man jailed under COVID-19 laws


A man who rode a jet ski across the Irish Sea from Scotland to the Isle of Man has been jailed for breaching COVID-19 laws.
Dale McLaughlan, 28, spent four and a half hours riding the watercraft, which he had never ridden before, from Scotland's Isle of Whithorn to Ramsey, at Isle of Man, on Friday.

The Scottish man, from North Ayrshire, travelled the 40km journey to visit his girlfriend, who he met on a night out in September.
Under the Isle of Man's COVID-19 laws, non-residents can't enter the island without special permission.
