UAW President Fain, DSA congresspeople hold press conference

Only a few minutes after the press conference, Democrats in Congress voted 147 to 73 in favor of the latest National Defense Authorization Act. The law includes $874.2 billion in funding for the US war machine, and includes provisions to fast-track sending weapons to the Israeli military.
