The UAE's Fuel Price Committee has raised retail petrol and diesel prices for September, marking the third consecutive monthly increase. Super 98 petrol will cost 3.42 dirhams per litre, up 9% from August, while Special 95 price has increased to 3.31 dirhams per litre. Diesel prices have been hiked to 3.4 dirhams per litre, a 15% increase. The rise in prices comes despite Brent crude trading at a similar level to the start of the month, with concerns about China's demand outlook and a slowdown in US economic growth.
