One shoplifter ran into the woods while the other came quietly back to the office Dec. 5 in Madisonville.
Madisonville Officer Jesse Moses said just after 8 p.m. that night, he went to Walmart on a shoplifting call and was told the suspect had taken off running.
Moses said he spotted the suspect heading toward the Dollar Tree and, when he turned into that storeâs parking lot, turning on his lights, the suspect ran up a hill and into a wooded area.
Moses said he gave chase and eventually caught up to the man â identified as Timothy Michael Finney â and took him back to Walmart where security recovered a black hoodie heâd allegedly taken off with.
