Two boys slipped into a pond and died in Battambang province, while two men in Kandal province drowned after their car plunged into a lake. In Battambang province, Thma Koul district deputy police chief Heang Buntha told The Post on October 25 that Duong Thai, 5, and Loeun Socheat, 3, residents of Roung Chrey commune’s Poi Roung Chrey village, drowned in a pond on October 24.
