Görev süresi sona eren TRT Genel Müdürü İbrahim Eren'in yerine Mehmet Zahid Sobacı atandı. Yeni TRT Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı ise Prof. Dr. Ahmet Albayrak oldu. Hilal Kaplan da yönetime girdi.
