Share Updated: 7:31 PM CDT May 10, 2021 KETV Staff Report Two people are in custody after a pursuit between Lincoln and Omaha, Monday.The Nebraska State Patrol said Lamar Parsons Ferguson, 34 was driving a Kia Forte. They said he fled when the Seward County Sheriff's office tried to pull him over for a traffic stop. That's when NSP pilots started following the car. Troopers on the ground eventually caught up with Ferguson on eastbound Interstate 80. Deputies tried to stop the car but Ferguson sped up, hitting speeds over 100 miles per hour. As Ferguson approached Gretna, troopers said he drove through a median into the westbound lanes of Interstate 80. After several miles, the car stopped. Ferguson was booked for felony flight to avoid arrest and willful reckless driving. Both Ferguson and his passenger Mia Miller, 23 face possession of a controlled substance charges. Both Ferguson and Miller were booked into the Sarpy County Jail.
