The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Enugu State has dismissed the petition of the People's Redemption Party candidate, Chief Chris Agu, challenging the election of Mr Peter Mbah of the Peoples Democratic Party in the March 18 governorship election in the state. The three-member tribunal led Justice K. M. Akano in dismissing all the three grounds of the petitioners which sought the nullification of the election of Mbah as the duly elected governor of Enugu State, said that he relied on newspaper publications.
