The Metropolitan Magistrate Court-II, Egmore, on Friday adjourned a trial proceeding in a case filed against film director Shankar to next month.
The case was filed by Tamil writer Aarur Tamilnadan, who alleged that a short story of his had been copied and made into a movie
Endhiran, starring superstar Rajinikanth, Aishwarya Rai and others.
Plea in SC
In October last year, the Supreme Court had dismissed a petition by Mr. Shankar challenging the order of the Madras High Court in connection with a copyright violation case against him for the movie
