williams stands accused of shooting and killing two people at a nightclub in 20-14. he was released from jail in january with a ankle monitoring device as part of the home incarceration program. records show he cut off his ankle monitor thursday morning. he has friends and family that lives in taylor's. according to deputies, he has relatives as well in oconee and anderson county. if you see him you're asked to call 911. to the lowcountry now. a deputy is recovering after she was shot on the job. corporal kimber gist is from woodruff. it all began in goose creek thursday night, that's in berkeley county. she was on patrol and tried to stop a suspicious vehicle. that's when she got into a scuffle with the suspect, who then shot her twice. the suspect was later involved in a standoff with police in north charleston, he was found later dead of an apparent deputies say gist is doing well and is in good spirits after surgery. coming up, we' explain what is brining a planned 320 acres in the golden corner commerce park. the project would have created 59 and be up to a $250 million investment. richard blackwell of oconee economic alliance says michelin let its option on the land expire. but he says the county is optimistic the project will eventually happen in the county. yet the county is going in pursuit of other tenants. it's a well-known landmark in anderson, and you can expect in just a few minutes. myra: thank you. after the largest snowfall in nine years last week, the tallest peak in the canary islands remains covered in snow. the government of the canary islands has reopened the park because they want more people to view this beautiful landscape. the snowfall amounted to more than five inches, an unusual event, and freezing temperatures have kept the snow pack from melting. plows and other heavy equipment were called in to clear the roads so people can have access to be the part hearing we are learning more about a deadly shooting rampage in kansas. police have identified the man allegedly behind the attack. three people died 14 were hurt. , officials say the shooting happened at a business called excel industries. it is a place that makes lawn mower parts. it is just north of wichita. the gunman has been identified as 38-year-old cedric ford. police say he was served a protection from abuse order thursday afternoon. police say that the first officer on the scene took down the shooter single-handedly. to the latest in the zika outbreak. nine pregnant women in the u.s. have now been infected with the virus. go up. that is according to the centers for disease control and prevention. 10 other case are suspected. two of those pregnancies ended in miscarriage. two were aborted. one baby was born with severe brain abnormalities. healthy. all of the women had traveled to countries where zika is spreading. michigan's governor has authorized spending in aid to $30 million help pay flint residents' water bills in the wake of the city's lead-tainted water crisis. the governor signed the legislation in flint yesterday, saying people shouldn't have to pay for water they cannot drink. the plan will pay for 65% of the water portion of the bills, covering water used for drinking, cooking or bathing. residents are still responsible for the sewer portion of their bills. >> this is about having urgency, this is about using common sense, this is about working together, and it's about solving this issue and taking this myra: michigan's governor says this brings total emergency funding for flint by the state of michigan to $70 million. several people have been displaced after a fire at the tara apartments in greenville. the solutions recovery center houses recovering addicts and alcoholics there. it's part of their sober living program. the fire displaced more than 20 of the residents there, but the executive director says, all of them had a place to sleep last night. >> my main concern right now is where these guys are going to live and housing them and making sure they don't lose a step. myra: the cause of the fire remains under investigation. an upstate teacher is without a job, and faces charges, after police say she hit a student. 40-year-old brandy overmyer faces third-degree assault charges. superintendent says overmyer no school. the superintendent says this type of behavior cannot and will not be tolerated in laurens school district 55. in anderson county highway , patrol troopers say they have found a car involved with a hit and run earlier this week. troopers say this toyota corolla was found on the side of michelin boulevard yesterday morning. the hit and run happened before 11:00 on tuesday morning near airport road. they say a tow truck driver and their customer were hit by this vehicle. both suffered non-life threatening injuries. if you can help police identify the driver of this car, call police immediately. the upstate boys and girls basketball williams stands accused of shooting and killing two people at a nightclub in 20-14. he was released from jail in january with a ankle monitoring device as part of the home incarceration program. records show he cut off his ankle monitor thursday morning. he has friends and family that lives in taylor's. according to deputies, he has relatives as well in oconee and anderson county. if you see him you're asked to call 911. to the lowcountry now. a deputy is recovering after she was shot on the job. corporal kimber gist is from woodruff. it all began in goose creek thursday night, that's in berkeley county. she was on patrol and tried to stop a suspicious vehicle. that's when she got into a scuffle with the suspect, who then shot her twice. the suspect was later involved in a standoff with police in north charleston, he was found later dead of an apparent deputies say gist is doing well and is in good spirits after surgery. coming up, we' explain what is brining a planned 320 acres in the golden corner commerce park. the project would have created 59 and be up to a $250 million investment. richard blackwell of oconee economic alliance says michelin let its option on the land expire. but he says the county is optimistic the project will eventually happen in the county. yet the county is going in pursuit of other tenants. it's a well-known landmark in anderson, and now it is being torn down. the bailes building is full of memories for julie johnson and jenny fretwell, they're two of george bailes senior's grandchildren, their grandfather bought the buildings in between himself and donald trump. also in tennessee yesterday was john kasich. he was in memphis. his campaign announced that former new jersey governor christine whitman will be backing the ohio you can expect in just a few minutes. myra: thank you. after the largest snowfall in nine years last week, the tallest peak in the canary islands remains covered in snow. the government of the canary islands has reopened the park because they want more people to view this beautiful landscape. the snowfall amounted to more than five inches, an unusual event, and freezing temperatures have kept the snow pack from melting. plows and other heavy equipment were called in to clear the roads so people can have access to be the part hearing we are learning more about a deadly shooting rampage in kansas. police have identified the man allegedly behind the attack. three people died 14 were hurt. , officials say the shooting happened at a business called excel industries. it is a place that makes lawn mower parts. it is just north of wichita. the gunman has been identified as 38-year-old cedric ford. police say he was served a protection from abuse order thursday afternoon. police say that the first officer on the scene took down the shooter single-handedly. to the latest in the zika outbreak. nine pregnant women in the u.s. have now been infected with the virus. go up. that is according to the centers for disease control and prevention. 10 other case are suspected. two of those pregnancies ended in miscarriage. two were aborted. one baby was born with severe brain abnormalities. healthy. all of the women had traveled to countries where zika is spreading. michigan's governor has authorized spending in aid to $30 million help pay flint residents' water bills in the wake of the city's lead-tainted water crisis. the governor signed the legislation in flint yesterday, saying people shouldn't have to pay for water they cannot drink. the plan will pay for 65% of the water portion of the bills, covering water used for drinking, cooking or bathing. residents are still responsible for the sewer portion of their bills. >> this is about having urgency, this is about using common sense, this is about working together, and it's about solving this issue and taking this myra: michigan's governor says this brings total emergency funding for flint by the state of michigan to $70 million. several people have been displaced after a fire at the tara apartments in greenville. the solutions recovery center houses recovering addicts and alcoholics there. it's part of their sober living program. the fire displaced more than 20 of the residents there, but the executive director says, all of them had a place to sleep last night. >> my main concern right now is where these guys are going to live and housing them and making sure they don't lose a step. myra: the cause of the fire remains under investigation. an upstate teacher is without a job, and faces charges, after police say she hit a student. 40-year-old brandy overmyer faces third-degree assault charges. superintendent says overmyer no school. the superintendent says this type of behavior cannot and will not be tolerated in laurens school district 55. in anderson county highway , patrol troopers say they have found a car involved with a hit and run earlier this week. troopers say this toyota corolla was found on the side of michelin boulevard yesterday morning. the hit and run happened before 11:00 on tuesday morning near airport road. they say a tow truck driver and their customer were hit by this vehicle. both suffered non-life threatening injuries. if you can help police identify the driver of this car, call police immediately. the upstate boys and girls basketball championships continue later today at the bons secours arena here in greenville. wren and dreher squared off in the first game last night. they had a large crowd >> that's kind of been our motto, we
