shooting happened at excel industries, a plant that makes lawnmower parts, north of wichita. the gunman was identified as 38-year-old cedric ford. he was served a protection from abuse order on thursday just before he opened fire. the first officer on the scene took down the shooter single-handedly. student after crash nearly sent a school bus over hillside in pennsylvania. the driver and one middle school student were on the bus when it crashed into a guardrail near indiana township. the driver went to make a right-hand turn, misjudged, hit the guardrail, sending the bus over the edge. no one was hurt. the incident was purely an accident, the driver will not be arged. the latest in the zika virus outbreak. 9 pregnant women have been in acted with the virus. according to the centers for disease control and prevention 10 other cases are suspected. all of the women had travel to countries where the zika virus is spreading. michigan's governor has in aid to help flint water bills in the wake of the lead tainted water crisis. he signed the legislation yesterday, saying people should not pay for water they can drink. they will pay for 65% of the water portion bills. for a double murder suspect, who is on the run. bradford williams stands accused of shooting and killing two people at a nightclub in 2014. january with a ankle monitoring device as part of the home incarceration program. records show he cut off his ankle monitor thursday morning. deputies say williams has friends and family that live in the taylors area and in oconee and anderson county. if you in a standoff with police in north charleston, he was found later dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. meanwhile deputies say gist is , doing well and is in good spirits after surgery. in greenville county, the family attorney of a robbery victim, killed by deputies, has plenty to say about the case. attorney fletcher smith is accusing deputies of excessive force and not following it stems from the death of charles rosemond on december 10th. rosen was shot by deputy dave dempsey in the head when they tried to enter his home. deputies feared that someone inside might have been hurt, after responding to calls of a robbery. the attorney claims deputies did not identify themselves before enenring. >> the family is happy that officer dempsey survived and they're happy that he's recovering. but their sense of loss is that they have a loved one that can't come home. myra: the attorney for the sheriff's office says their official answer will deny claims that deputies did not identify themselves. a greenville citadel cadet has made history at the military school. cameron massengale lost his right hand in a work accident in 2014. we caught up with him earlier this year, as he was training to prestigious summerall guard. we have learned that he's become a member of the elite drill platoon. being a member of the summerall guard is one of the highest honors that can be thursday just before he opened fire. the first officer on the scene took down the shooter single-handedly. student after crash nearly sent a school bus over hillside in pennsylvania. the driver and one middle school student were on the bus when it crashed into a guardrail near indiana township. the driver went to make a right-hand turn, misjudged, hit the guardrail, sending the bus over the edge. no one was hurt. the incident was purely an accident, the driver will not be arged. the latest in the zika virus outbreak. 9 pregnant women have been in acted with the virus. according to the centers for disease control and prevention 10 other cases are suspected. all of the women had travel to countries where the zika virus is spreading. michigan's governor has in aid to help flint water bills in the wake of the lead tainted water crisis. he signed the legislation yesterday, saying people should not pay for water they can drink. they will pay for 65% of the water portion bills. for a double murder suspect, who is on the run. bradford williams stands accused of shooting and killing two people at a nightclub in 2014. january with a ankle monitoring device as part of the home incarceration program. records show he cut off his ankle monitor thursday morning. deputies say williams has friends and family that live in the taylors area and in oconee and anderson county. if you greenville county, the family attorney of a robbery victim, killed by deputies, has plenty to say about the case. attorney fletcher smith is accusing deputies of excessive force and not following it stems from the death of charles rosemond on december 10th. rosen was shot by deputy dave dempsey in the head when they tried to enter his home. deputies feared that someone inside might have been hurt, after responding to calls of a robbery. the attorney claims deputies did not identify themselves before enenring. >> the family is happy that officer dempsey survived and they're happy that he's recovering. but their sense of loss is that they have a loved one that can't come home. myra: the attorney for the sheriff's office says their official answer will deny claims that deputies did not identify themselves. a greenville citadel cadet has made history at the military school. cameron massengale lost his right hand in a work accident in 2014. we caught up with him earlier this year, as he was training to prestigious summerall guard. we have learned that he's become a member of the elite drill platoon. being a member of the summerall guard is one of the highest honors that can be
