70 people were displaced when the fire started at the woodlawn garden apartments on route 1. fairfax county fire investigators say a malfunctioning in the building's attic is to blame. d.c. firefighters are reminding you to make sure you have carbon dioxide detectors in your home, this after three people were taken to the hospital for c.o. exposure this morning. another person was evaluated and released at a home near the intersection of 5th and farragut streets in petworth. firefighters say a defective furnace was releasing the odorless gas. there was no carbon monoxide the snow stays well to our north. the problem for us is that there's moisture moving in. some of that into kentucky and southern ohio is headed our way over the cold about to surface. there could be a several hour period of freezing rain and that is like the most dangerous sort of weather we could have. by 11:30, ce the snow in rain and some of that extends into martinsburg. we'll see if any of that can extend down into northern virginia as well. by tomorrow morning we'll have rain around. so yellow alert, plan for a slow commute on monday morning. midmorning still rain and by lunchtime most of us have lied out except for southern -- dried out except for southern maryland and the lower eastern shore with some sun developing tomorrow afternoon, about 50. as far as how much ice and this is
