Explosion. An eyewitness man identified is 18yearold Connor Goldman climbing on a rock structure and stepped on something that exploded. A part of the Southeast Region of this park is closed. Police investigate whether firefighters played a part in the explosion. Sources say goldman was climbing on the rocks with two friends, 20yearold thomashines and 18yearold joseph staple. He was taken to the hospital with a possible amputation. His foot is all, but detached. His friends claim that he was walking down the rocks and stepped on something. There was a divet in the ground where there was an explosion and apparently he stepped on something. Reporter connor is a student at the university of miami in florida. The man was riding a jet ski with the child on saturday at summers point when he rounded a curve and struck another jet ski head on. They were taken to a new jersey hospital where they died from their injuries. Their names have not yet been released. They say that the 8yearold might have been at the controls. A woman riding the other jet ski was treated for a broken wrist. Both family and friends of the late attended his funeral today in new york city. The prolific author died saturday at his new york home. He was 87. His memoir night detailed his heroing ordeal as a prisoner in the concentration camp. This is a great loss for the jewish people and mankind. He was a unique individual that we will miss him dearly.
