What more have you learned . Well we now know the ages of the children and understand they are four and eight years old. Very Young Children at this point. Police do not believe they are in eminent danger. If they were they would go inside. At this point we are in a holding pattern. They are continuing to have dialogue with a man inside the home. You cant see the home here. You see the crime scene tape. But at the end of london bury road theres a parkway and im told the house is on stockton parkway to the left and thats where the river is. We are down here in fairfax county. Let me show you video of a big deal all night long. What first happened was a friend of the man called police. He was concerned for his own safety and police arrived. At 3 00 a. M. Major equipment Custody Order issued and very concerned about his safety and now i understand a temporary detention order has been issued at some time in the night they tried to communicate to the man with a mega phone a big loud speaker asking him to come out and heres what one of the neighbors told us. My wife talked about that that she could hear them through the windows calling them out by name and saying hey come out there are people who care about you, this can be worked out type thing. And that was odd. Theres Young Children in the home. So yeah that does put an extra complexity into the situation. Even though we dont think that the children are in danger from him we dont want to do anything that would set someone off to cause him to be harmed or have something unexpected happen that would put the children at risk. So this is all very calm. Police are out and tell me they continue to have dialogue and continue to talk to this man and hoping this can all be resolved and this man can come out and receive the help he needs. We caught up with one young man who has been here for six times, this is their sixth time here. Heres what he had to say about the festivities today. Is this your first time here . No weve come a couple of times. Ive actually been here six times. Six times . It was amazing. I found a golden egg. Wow. We had an opportunity to do everything we wanted to do today more than once. Yeah because the crowds were pretty light for the most part it really allowed families the opportunity to go and experience a lot of those acre tufts again and again and again so it certainly worked in their favor. We are expecting additional rounds of the crowd to make their way here to the white house and the early evening. But from right now you can see a lot of fun still being had here. Some of the artists that performed a group by the name of row four was out here today taking the opportunity to enjoy the kids as well. First it over girls wearing leggings. Then a customer bloodied as he was dragged off a flight. A couple of days later a passenger was stung by a scorpion and now this. A bride and groom heading to costa rica for their wedding got kicked off their houston flight over the weekend. They were the last to board the plane. When they got to their seat they noticed a man spread across their row napping. They didnt want to wake him so they picked empty seats three rows ahead. United claims they were asked to move but they didnt. The couple says they did move but air marshals still escorted them back to the terminal. The crew claims the couple was disorderly. The couple calls it absurd. They first pulled us off and said they would get us transportation and a hotel for pulling us off the plane for apparently no reason and we were still taken off the plane and after that it became a w nothing. United Airlines Says the couple was removed because they tried to sit in upgraded economy plus seating which they didnt pay for. United said they also rescheduled the couples flight for sunday which was their wedding day. Everybody else went to costa rica in the Wedding Party just not the bride and groom in time. United also announced a change in policy crew members can no erlong displace customers who already boarded a plane. The change comes after a passenger was dragged from a fully booked United Express flight. Cell phone video sparked outrage and caused a Public Relations nightmare. A crew member must make ride bookings at least one hour i still dont understand why the guy who was sprawled across three seats wasnt asked to move. We need to verify the story. United needs to figure out what to do to fly friendly skies. And in the meantime people are taking advantage of other airlines and taking advantage of united not looking as good. Leaving today from our area weve got a little rain delay or need to get to the airport really early because of the rain. Its going to be slowing down traffic the lunch hour today but the evening commute looks much better and by tomorrow its going to be refreshing outside and comparison to what it was like just yesterday afternoon on Easter Sunday. Heres first alert live doppler. Again im tracking this one band of showers moving through in general this is pretty light. Weve got them now making their way through culpepper county closing in on fredricksburg with spotty light showers into the di washington to buoy the light rain falling continuing to extend to the east not moving that quickly but its going to be a steady light rain for a good hour or so. Weve got it moving into upper mall bureau right about now and at 12 49 expect some light rain thats going to last for a short while and then it is out of here. Heres the cold front moving out behind the cold front what we are looking at is a drop in temperatures and after the rain we are seeing right now maybe just the slightest drop in tree pollens. This is what it looked like in a lot of back yards over the weekend the thick yellow green film showing up all over the cars and back patio. It is everywhere and the pollen levels because of a steadier rain a little more than two days ago looks like it may briefly knock those pollen counts down. Yesterday they were off the charts h weekend. They are still high today but after todays rain briefly i do think we are expecting the pollen level to drop down into the medium range but once that sun comes back out tomorrow afternoon it starts to knock pollen levels up once again. Future cast the rain leaving if you are doing a staycation today the rain showers still around through 2 00 in Prince Georges County and as we work our way towards 4 or 5 00 clearing out and clearing skies happening overnight. Clear skies means we are going to wake up tomorrow morning cooler and refreshed in comparison to the past several months. We start out tuesday at 8 00 a. M. In the 50s. The sunshine rolls into the afternoon tomorrow and temperatures going to be on either side of 70 degrees versus the 80s dealing with just yesterday. Thats our setup. We are expecting everything to clear out and looking at a cool down. 70 degrees for tuesday feeling more clouds and a stray shower. We are going to see the shower chances returning by noon but at least temperatures start to cool off back closer to average. Heres a look at the next three days rain showers clearing out in the next hour to two hours. Sunny nice tomorrow 70 degrees. Cooler wednesday with more showers returning on thursday. One note of the weekend looks like sunday late in the day we will have more showers and in case you missed the announcement april the giraffe finally gave birth to a healthy beautiful baby boy weighing in at 129pounds standing 59 inches tall.
