Police in aspen hill on the lookout for two men involved in a Home Invasion investigators say thanks to two women a third man did not get away. Today prosecutors charged 30 yearold barrington dean watts with attempted murder. Investigators say watts broke into an apartment on Pear Tree Court last night, but the victims wrestled his pistol away from him, beat him badly and held him until the cops got there. A 26yearold man visiting that apartment was shot in the shoulder in all the mayhem. One of the victims was able to get a handle on the gun and was actually helped out by another victim. So a struggle ensued. One of the victims suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder. They were able to detain this one suspect. The other two suspects fled. Police say the two accomplices who were with watts escaped with some money. Two children were in that apartment at the time. Luckily they werent hurt. The victim and attacker know each other. Police say another Home Invasion in mclean also involved people who knew each other. Fairfax county investigators have been at this house all evening since last nights invasion stabbing. A man and woman have been charged. Police believe the woman was fired and sparked the attack on the man who fired her and his wife. Sources say the two victims and two suspects are all attorneys.
