New this morning, for a second day, Southwest Airlines is asking passengers to show up extra early for flights today. Southwest airlines as you mentioned, pleading with customers to come two hours early, print your boarding pass before you get to the airport because of those Technical Glitches that have really crippled the system. And this happened initially on sunday, about 450 southwest Airline Flights nationwide came to a halt and there were long lines and delays at airports around the country. And now we can tell you, heres good news, the system was not hacked. Were getting that from Southwest Airlines. But we are not getting much more. They have not yet told us whats the cause behind the problem but sunday a nightmare. Passengers were checked in manually, given handwritten boarding passes and baggage was tied up for a longtime. And we saw long lines and delays. And its monday morning, a holiday, a lot of folks coming back so expect a very busy day at the airport. But arrive two hours aand print your boarding pass because these delays are expected for a while. And not only here at Reagan National, dwi, but airports around the country serving Southwest Airlines. Thats the latest, wusa 9. Theres an outcry over the mysterious death of an inmate inside the Arlington County detention facility. Edward strong died saturday morning. He was sent to jail for a trespassing conviction. Investigators say he had a history of medical issues. His family is in shock. He is a person. He is somebody that was cared about and loved. He has grandchildren. He has, you know, a daughter. Hes got a brother. An autopsy will be conducted. Strongs death is the second in a detention facile think year. Facility in the county this year. Irans state tv says guilty is the verdict in the espionage case of the Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian. A jew dish ware spokesperson says Jason Rezaian has the right to appeal within 20 days. In the news right now, one person is many custody after a deadly shooting of a Memphis Police officer. He was 22 years old. He was shot just before 1 00 yesterday afternoon. His uncle says the offduty officer was shot after he left to go to work. His fiance is pregnant with the couples first child. The shooting in cleveland was justified, thats the fining of the prosecutors case in the case of the 12yearold boy shot to death by a patrol man. It turned out he was holding a pellet gun. Community activist want the officer who shot the young boy held accountable. Normally police dont go to jail for killing black children. Thats a reality statistically, thats not my opinion.
