Lightning, indicates that one is getting stronger. This one actually around new market is pushing off to the east but seems to have lost its hail. It had 2inch hail at one point in time. Now i think its pretty much not a huge deal. Now it kind of shifted to this storm west of culpeper, north of ver, hail 1. 1 inches in diameter. They probably will issue a warning on that because that is one of the criterion for a severe thunderstorm. This is a pretty good storm, though, especially across 234, almost to 522, pretty close to culpeper and you see the Lightning Strike there and heavy rain, and we are talking pretty heavy rain just to the south of slate mills, going to head towards boston soon and griffinsburg in about 15 minutes. The red is rainfall rate of almost an inch per hour. Put down heavy rain and a tiny bit of flash flooding as it moves off to the east. Track this towards remington about 6 08 and midland about 6 24. They are moving between 10 and 20 Miles Per Hour. Not like the ones we had that outbreak that were moving 50 Miles Per Hour. So we are going to keep showers and storms in tonight and then patchy fog after midnight. So those areas that see the showers, just add on 10 minutes to your commute tomorrow.
