Reporter local teachers say by marching they are teaching their students to be good citizens. I would never teach without modeling it first for my students. Its my job to teach my students to stand up for themselves. To advocate for their rights and to be good humans. Reporter so i streamed the first event on Facebook Live and got slapped with a huge dose of division. Just hundreds and hundreds of really nasty comments urging these women, they said, go back to work. Thats what they said. You can imagine got just as passionate responses from the supporters of these womens day without a woman event. Live in dc, bruce leshan, wusa9. Today, looks to me like the snow is going to go south of us. The arctic air is going to plummet further south. This is going to be serious air. Probably the coldest weve seen since early january. The area of low pressure still developed in west tennessee or mississippi. Takes a farther track than we talked about yesterday. Now the Northern Edge of the precipitation probably into the northern neck, maybe into southern maryland. Thats it. Then it moves out so the prospect of seeing measurable snow here is really, really low. Lets talk about the percentages again with this updated a little bit. Heres what were thinking now. In terms of seeing snow flakes, well leave it at 20 . We could see a few snow flakes, especially south of town. In terms of measurable snow, 10 . In terms of a total miss, thats up to 60 . The six out of ten times this storm will stay south of us and give us nothing. Heres something were sure about though. Arctic air, were 100 sure that is coming in. Well be back. Might be surprised how cold its going to be over the weekend. Theres another winter problem on the map for next week. Well talk about that. All right, top.
