county, fairfax one to three in. i still feel that it may look pretty impressive tomorrow morning in terms of snow falling, but temperatures will be above freezing. a hard snow to accumulate except on grass, mulch, trees, shrubs. that's it, west of 15 out in loudoun county three to six inches plus. it'll be a wide range in our viewing area. hagerstown you could get six. frederick could get four. gaithersburg could get three. and down to just a few flakes. one of those typical end of the season storm with the season temperatures struggling to get down to freezing. might be a 3.5. and roads will be wet. some of the roads north and west of town from the side roads could get slushy early in the morning because of the incredibly fast accumulating snow. 52 right now. dew point is 20. and how could it snow when it is 52? we've seen this time and time again as the temperatures upstairs determine what falls from the sky. okay here is the precipitation. you can see all the rain and snow back in west virginia, extending back in to kentucky and tennessee. i don't think it's going to roll in here until after midnight at the timetable. morning commute will be a mess. it'll be snow. heaviest snow north and west and again the service temperatures above 32 will cut down on accumulation, especially on the road surfaces. mainly rain east of i-95. so the future cast at 1:00. they will be getting some rain. and some of the action will begin as rain and then kick to snow by dawn. in fact by 6:00 a.m. now we have snow in dc, fairfax, leesburg. but again notice the temperatures, they're above freezing which will be a good thing. down towards la plata it is just rain. i thought they were a little aggressive with the snow. and now it is rain in dc. still snow hanging on north and west. back towards winchester and martinsburg and the panhandle of west virginia. by 6:00 p.m. most of the heavy activity is gone. most of the snow by then will turn to rain briefly. day planner 39 to start rain and snow. 38 at 9:00. 38 at 11:00 and 39 with just plain rain by 1:00 downtown. so yellow alert obviously. but then march, it's great isn't it? the first full day of spring. a little cooler on sunday, but still nice with the temperatures in the mid-50s. the next seven days. mid-50s on tuesday and up mid- 50s on wednesday. another front goes through and just rain showers in the wake of that we could handle a two- degree drop. a protest continues at the university of the apparent beating by a black student. >> this is where it happened after marquise johnson was not allowed in the trinity pub. officers arrested him. and then he ended up on the ground bleeding from his head. protest continues through campus today. after the arrest of marquise johnson. >> most people don't want to admit that it was a racially motivated event, but it was. like everyone else she saw the photos and the videos, while agents held him down. >> you could see the picture of him lying there that it was difficult for me as a mother to see. >> reporter: they drew some 500 people. ten stitches in his head took the high road. >> i beg for you guys and the way that you feel about subjects. like everyone here we're all part of one community. and that we deserve the respect for each other. >> reporter: this beating may be an isolated incident. but the students here say that the racism is prevalent. >> it affects us every single day. and i have never felt comfortable here. i'm here to get my degree and get out and never come back. >> as a parent i speak to all the parents as those pictures are disturbing. >> reporter: there are many pictures and photos after he was on the ground. what happened before is under investigation. in charlottesville, peggy fox wusa9. >> and those special agents involved in his arrest have been assigned to the administrative duties. after a shooting in knoxville, maryland. 60 miles northwest of dc and police have ruled it a double murder suicide. they join us live. what happened here? >> well first of all this quiet community is stunned at the tragedy that happened right behind me. the house that you see there. police say that the 87-year-old shot and killed his 86-year-old wife and his 56-year-old son with special needs. she has lived in her home for more than five decades and has known the family across the street for years. she describes them as wonderful neighbors who would help her out. but the couple suffered health issues. >> there was something wrong for them too. i think they told him that it was maybe cancer. >> reporter: and they found johnny green and his son dead. his wife mary was taken to the hospital and later died. the father in the basement. >> they couldn't take it any longer i guess. they had three children including their special needs son who lived with them. >> mark is a very nice guy. and he put a lot of miles on that bike, even though he was mentally challenged or handicapped. he was a very nice guy. he was willing to help you out if he could. >> reporter: the neighbors say they will miss seeing the family, they say especially the son. >> everybody knew him. he used to drive around like i said every day and he was always stopping to talk to you. >> reporter: police say that johnny green had called a family member to say that he shot his wife and son and he was about to turn the gun on himself. and that is when police shortly came out here. police say they do not have any history with the home. but a neighbor walked up saying i cannot believe they're all gone. >> thank you, surae. we have another story for you on wednesday. they confirmed and offered some new details. the dc cop accused of sexually assaulting two teenagers has twice been conducted earlier. bruce live with the latest on this one. >> reporter: we told you that this is not the first time that he had been in trouble. but now we have new details and the prosecutor says that there are new victims that are coming forward. >> don't touch me. leave me alone. >> reporter: they lashed out at the media after the judge ordered the cop and pastor held in jail as a danger to the community. especially a danger to young women. >> they standby him despite the four counts of sexually assaulting teenagers, including sexual assault while armed in his church and in his office on the top floor of the police headquarters. >> we support him. we love him. >> reporter: he has a pattern of praying on young women. at the dc police academy in 2007, he allegedly cornered a cadet, closed the door and fondled her breast. at fifth district, he told another officer that he wanted to take her to the hotel to give her a massage and then hit her buttocks. that got him demoted from sergeant to officer. the reverent says that he has known bess for almost 30 years. >> my heart goes out for the alleged victims. it's not that line though, no, sir. but here is what i do know that as humans we have the potential to make those bad decisions. >> reporter: the judge found that there was probable cause to believe that he abused his power as a police officer and as a pastor and said that the alleged assault inside police headquarters here showed a boldness and that suggested he is dangerous. live at dc superior court, bruce leshan wusa9. >> thank you, bruce. if convicted on all counts, that cop could face as many as 35 years in prison. some serious repairs tonight. they lost control just a little while ago crashing in to the front of the rite aid and look at where it ended up. the driver was given a sobriety test rain. but here is the latest snowfall map. but one to three inches back in to fairfax county around manassas with the bull's eye in upper montgomery county north and west and west at 15 and also north and west as we are three to six inches or more that could fall. you'll get a bunch of snow. frederick as well. over towards winchester. up in to martinsburg. i do see the slush on the roads in upper montgomery county. very early tomorrow morning. >> they have been cut out of the billion dollar casino project. we talked to them today and i guess that they say they have been gambling on these projects and it is becoming a snake eye. >> reporter: yeah, that is exactly right as a lot of people first announced they were going to build this construction project behind me that not everyone was thrilled about it. now they say that deal is not being honored. >> reporter: half of the men based in the county. michael brian is concrete. every one of them thought they would be working on the construction of the billion dollar casino. but they say that every bid they entered was denied and the primary contractor and often without any explanation. that he represents contractors in the county, saying that over 20 minority-owned businesses have reached out to them with complaints just like these that they would believe it is immoral. they say that they must hire the minority-owned businesses for at least 30% of the total construction value, which is roughly $300 million. this group says that they haven't come close to that. >> making $10 to $15 million. they didn't do what they were suppose to do if they can't give you an answer. >> as black minorities and counties, we just need to stick to the sides. >> we went to their office here behind me as they told us that they were not interested in speaking to the media at this time that we also called them to see what they had to say about all of this as they have not yet returned our call, but they will be staying on this. >> and they tell wusa9 that the governor's office will be there as well. new information tonight on a woman killed in maryland. announcing the first murder indictment. the 29-year-old crystal anderson disappeared in august of 2011. her remains were found near the state park in january of 2012. deputies believe they have finally solved the case. anderson's mother remembers the life cut not too short. >> i think about her laugh at 2:00 in the morning. and i feel it at this moment. that i'm robbed of a life. >> currently in the maryland department of corrections serving a sentence for an unrelated armed robbery conviction. as investigators say that other people may be charged in this case. we've got a disturbing report out of colorado. and her fetus was cut out of her womb. it happened when a mom replied to a craig's list ad. the 34-year-old took it to the hospital and claimed that she had a miscarriage. around the same time the victim arrived at the same hospital and police put two and two together and arrested layne on attempted murder charges. now the 26-year-old victim is expected to survive, but sadly her 7-month-old baby did not. right after the break, a house fire claimed the life of one man in springfield this morning. they were called to the scene just before 6:00 where four people were inside the homes. three of them made it out with non-life threatening injuries. but one man died. and the neighbors who called 911 described a chaotic scene. the cause of the fire is still under investigation. the washington couple who left their toddlers in a cold car while attending a wine tasting event will not be going to jail. the 46-year-old jenny chang and the 41-year-old christopher lucas pleaded guilty to charges of attempted second-degree cruelty to children. this includes a deferred sentencing agreement. if the couple completes classes and complies with their conditions that the government agreed to drop the case. the testimony in the eric gardner choke hold case will not be made public afterall. that's the ruling today from a new york judge. the aclu and other agencies wanted that evidence released after their grand jury decision not to indict the officer. but the district attorney argued that the jurors and the witnesses would assure that the testimony would not be made public. >> the head of the secret service is refusing the claim that they would crash a car in to the white house barricade earlier this month coming before the senate panel that joseph says the surveillance video actually shows the agent's car slowly entering the white house grounds. and pushing aside a plastic barrel. no damage to the car according to clancy who also says he is extremely concerned about reports that the two agents were drunk after attending the retirement party for the colleague and says that he is prepared to discipline the two after the inspector general's investigation is done. >> and today he would hope to raise awareness for a cause that will be near and dear. and for many of you that one year ago today that he was officially declared missing. and as you know that she has not yet been found. 2,000 children
