Stephanie ramirez learned the victim driving the suv that appeared to strike a Frederick County School Bus Head on is a 17yearold Middletown High School student. Reporter old middletown road is this back country road here just beyond the downhill area over there where the accident happened with the victims uncle telling us 17 yearold clair knight was on her way to school. She had plans to attend towson university, kept a high gpa and was fluent in sign language. Her uncle dean knight also said she sang. She really as a parent youd go i want a kid like this and thats clair. Clair was special. Reporter the whole family devastated. 17yearold clair knight is the victim who died in this mornings School Bus Accident in middletown, Frederick County. Knight was on her way to school early this morning when the bus was on its way to pick up middle School Students with one student already on board. The bus driver and student involved only received minor injuries, but knight died on scene. Middletown is a small tight knit community. Reporter grief counselors were immediately on hand today at the high school where knight was a senior at middletown. She was so beautiful and its a tragedy when you lose a human life that is so young. Her parents are grieving terribly, as our entire family is. Reporter danny knight said his niece was found with her cell phone in her pocket and she was not texting at the time.
