Im not a big swimmer but i was excited about it. You dread it but you want to get it all in. Reporter you train for a reason. Disappointing for sure. Reporter doe is investigating how the water became contaminated, though its not apr order in the potomac. Exceptions have been made in the past for events if the water is tested and deemed safe enough for the purposes of that permit event. Organizing a triathlon starts long before that. Its super frustrating. We start 365 days in advance working on the event, filing permits, going through the whole process here. Its super unfortunate theres nothing we could do. Reporter this is not the first year the swimming leg of this race has been canceled. But the triathletes seem to be okay. I want to live after i do it. Ill just take their word for it. I just assume shower off. But im not making the decision. Reporter for most, this decision wont ruin the day. Im still excited. Itll still be fun. Reporter well, doe says they have longterm plans to clean the potomac, perhaps even open it up to swimmers on a but they admit thats still years away. Years away. Great news. You have to ask permission. Its three french fries. I mean, come on. Thats really petty. She stole, didnt she . [ laughter ] so its kind of appropriate. Shes not in the right state of mind. He couldve recognized that. She deserved what she got. Thats stupid to arrest her. Its different if youre not in uniform. But youre playing with a Police Officer. Yeah, she needs to learn her lesson. As a Police Officer, youre supposed to think, like, what i do its not a game or toy. After you take that vest off, she still got that thing on her charge with three french fries. He warned her. Told her to stop. She cant get a job now. People are just rude. I dont know. They need to get their stuff together and be respectful. Reporter this is the Police Incident report.
