the shallows. i want toe no if it is good. >> let's start with independent day, 20 years later, kevin. >> hi there, kevin good morning to you guys in philadelphia mike and alex, great to talk to you guys. independent day resurgence is opening up today as well as the shallows. independent day resurgence is 20 years since we have seen the first film in 1996. when i was a 12 year-old kiddy took a trip to new york city for the first time without my parents and i remember seeing first independent day with my aunt and uncle at 12 and it blew blue my mind when you see that white house explosion scene. that movie was very ahead of its kind, they did a great job with. that sequel itself i was than the too big on. i thought the film really had a poorly written script. action was fun. here's the thing i don't mind tv dialogue in the big dynamic action movie. fast and furious franchise balances that out well but here it was very much trying to be the first one plus missing will smith. in will smith in the movie. they have pictures and portraits that was a big issue it missed that spark of having will smith. jeff gold bloom is fine. they try to redo president's speech, one of the best scenes in the the first movie this time around they try to recreate that. it doesn't do it too well. two and a half out of five. i spent $22 to see it in imax 3-d and i did not think worth it. i don't think this one stacks up, and. and next up the shallows, starring blake lively ryan reynold wife as well and she plays a character attacked by a shark. just an amazing a tack sequence where she's riding a wave and shark comes out of the wave. insane to watch. it is like the movie, where ryan reynold did where she was in the coffee. she's on the rock 200-yard from shore trying to escape this shark. i sat down to talk about the movie and she got injured during a sequence, watch this. >> the buoy falls down and i crack my face and i whim in the buoy and i have this bloody nose. that was real. >> real bloody nose. >> real bloody nose, real crack, that was really, really awful and scary and when i came up i thought i would pass out right now or continue to see the scene and i will be so awesome and proud and show these people what you have done. i didn't pass out, thankfully. >> scene was awesome. >> when he are you get hurt like thaw want to it show. when you get hurt like that and it doesn't show no one appreciate it's. >> you told one of the funniest stories i have ever heard in my life... >> that full interview is on my facebook page, kevin mccarthey fox. the last thing were you hearing was a question about jimmy fallon. she was talking about how she has been on airplanes and she had to awkwardly watch her husband in this dead pool sex scene while she's riding on airplanes. i asked her about that as an actress in the film on facebook.com/kevin mccarthey fox. shallows is very much fun. 3.5 out of five. no where near as good as jaws but fun time in the movies. very, very intense. she does a great job in the movie. independent day two and a half, shallows three and a half. best movie out is probably cats in the america civil war. but back to you mike and alex. have a wonderful weekend. thank you for having me on. >> some people say here, in independent day, will smith wasn't in it. >> he is the original fighter pilot, we need him back. >> i have had beer. i have had beer inside of an apple dumpling. i have had two bloody mary's, i have hat a hot dog, two hamburgers and so this guy comes over and gives me this shirt. i say, you kind of smell. >> got gas. >> yes. >> what is this company. >> propane. >> propane company. >> absolutely. >> we are here in quakertown. proud to be part of the community. >> he has the gas. >> you got the gas. >> yes. >> we have hazmat situation going on lets get to chris and lauren. >> exactly we are following breaking news hazmat situation villanova nursing school. you can see sky fox is live over the scene, several people are being treated at this scene for sort of feeling sick. >> yeah, we know of course villanova university runs right there along route 30, lancaster. bob kelly any traffic issues that we know of. >> this one happened half april hour, went out as folks being sick inside one of the classrooms. we did find out it is villanova college of nursing. nursing college there so radnor police, also tweeted out they have multiple e ms and hazmat crews as we look live from sky fox there. some of the students being treated and rescue squad, upper left there lined autopsy licensing the grass. hopefully everybody will be okay. >> we will keep an eye on that and give you more information when it comes in. we will pass ate licensing for now. back out to mike and alex in quaker town. >> okay, guysy don't know if i ever said this on the air before. >> brace yourself. >> i know a lot about antiques. do you know thousand spot an antique. >> welshing i'm looking at one. >> he made me say that. >> deliver it better. >> hey alex, do you know how to spot a good antique. >> oh, i see one right now. >> is that better that was better. >> we have some tips on how to spot the real thing as opposed to the fake right here in quakertown coming up next. welcome back to quake are town and good day philadelphia basically we are having such a great time on this friday. now i was going to wait, alex the shallows. i want toe no if it is good. >> let's start with independent day, 20 years later, kevin. >> hi there, kevin good morning to you guys in philadelphia mike and alex, great to talk to you guys. independent day resurgence is opening up today as well as the shallows. independent day resurgence is 20 years since we have seen the first film in 1996. when i was a 12 year-old kiddy took a trip to new york city for the first time without my parents and i remember seeing first independent day with my aunt and uncle at 12 and it blew blue my mind when you see that white house explosion scene. that movie was very ahead of its kind, they did a great job with. that sequel itself i was than the too big on. i thought the film really had a poorly written script. action was fun. here's the thing i don't mind tv dialogue in the big dynamic action movie. fast and furious franchise balances that out well but here it was very much trying to be the first one plus missing will smith. in will smith in the movie. they have pictures and portraits that was a big issue it missed that spark of having will smith. jeff gold bloom is fine. they try to redo president's speech, one of the best scenes in the the first movie this time around they try to recreate that. it doesn't do it too well. two and a half out of five. i spent $22 to see it in imax 3-d and i did not think worth it. i don't think this one stacks up, and. and next up the shallows, starring blake lively ryan reynold wife as well and she plays a character attacked by a shark. just an amazing a tack sequence where she's riding a wave and shark comes out of the wave. insane to watch. it is like the movie, where ryan reynold did where she was in the coffee. she's on the rock 200-yard from shore trying to escape this shark. i sat down to talk about the movie and she got injured during a sequence, watch this. >> the buoy falls down and i crack my face and i whim in the buoy and i have this bloody nose. that was real. >> real bloody nose. >> real bloody nose, real crack, that was really, really awful and scary and when i came up i thought i would pass out right now or continue to see the scene and i will be so awesome and proud and show these people what you have done. i didn't pass out, thankfully. >> scene was awesome. >> when he are you get hurt like thaw want to it show. when you get hurt like that and it doesn't show no one appreciate it's. >> you told one of the funniest stories i have ever heard in my life... >> that full interview is on my facebook page, kevin mccarthey fox. the last thing were you hearing was a question about jimmy fallon. she was talking about how she has been on airplanes and she had to awkwardly watch her husband in this dead pool sex scene while she's riding on airplanes. i asked her about that as an actress in the film on facebook.com/kevin mccarthey fox. shallows is very much fun. 3.5 out of five. no where near as good as jaws but fun time in the movies. very, very intense. she does a great job in the movie. independent day two and a half, shallows three and a half. best movie out is probably cats in the america civil war. but back to you mike and alex. have a wonderful weekend. thank you for having me on. >> some people say here, in independent day, will smith wasn't in it. >> he is the original fighter pilot, we need him back. >> i have had
