You know what we were thinking about, 14 years ago, we were giving away earth, wind and fire ticket when somebody said a plane hit the World Trade Center. There was a small plane and then woman on the ground said she thought it was an external explosion. Now we have reports, and i would say more accurately it is a commercial plane, in maybe a commercial air line their slam in the towers here. It is not unusual at all to see commercial air liners, very close to the southern tip of machine hat on because lah guard eyes up in queens at border of manhattan and queens at the north end of the machine hat on island, only about, you you know, seven or 8 miles away. So quite often planes fly right down either east river or hudson river right by these World Trade Center. And mike, a witness has reported, seeing a twin engine plane flying right into the World Trade Center. And another conflicting report twin engine plane sound more like a small plane but maybe a commercial air liner with two jet engines. Thinks breaking even as we are speak. Fortyfive seconds from right now the second plane hit. So lets go to lower machine hat on for the second moment of silence. They are continuing to read the names of nearly 3,000 people. This will go on for offer three hours. That is how many people died, 14 years ago. Yes. So many from our area. So many told their stories. We have laughed and cried with their parents. I have seen so many card, for years and years and years and we will learn their names. We are in d. C. And lower manhattan. Nicholas w brandmarty. Daniel raymond brandheart. Well, that moment of silence, for United Airlines flight 175, that went in the south tower of the World Trade Center. New there will be four more moments of silence when each building collapsed which is almost as shocking as the plane into the buildings that day. And then shanksville moment of silence, and then pentagon. We have been saying 14 years later you still get that feeling. It still seems unbelievable. Even after all that time. That womans face,. Yes you see the memorial there. Such a beautiful reflecting pools, our floor director keith was up there just this weekend. That is right. Okay. You think about all of that. All of those people. 343 Fire Fighters that we lost and all of those stories. Is there so many people. We mention people from our area and names and faces. Pilots of the kiddy grew up with, budd clark, people we talk to for years and years and years. Yes. Also one of our viewers they mentioned the survivors that they are living with this and they lived it, on something media. We remember them on this day as well. These are paper towels. Particularly that were very young that long ago, 14 years ago. How do you get across what that day was like. What is interesting, there was a cam in our neck of the wood in bryn mawr and they had people surviving terrorism and they come from the world over. Our country the kids of course, were children who lost their parents. And in israel, and war torn regions and afghanistan and for this conference. We will never forget. Fourteen years later, starting to slip away a little bit. We have gone back to doing normal things. We played football on sundays and all that, we have reality shows with Kim Kardashian and all that, we did get back to normal. Even with the kid, one thing to read about in the textbook or hear are parents say it but another for those watching the news, saw it happened, to be there in that moment. That is 9 07. Obviously now 31 years later shes on top of the world. She had an amazing career. This has always been the thorn in her career. But i think it also helps make her who she is being super famous off this scandal. Basically miss America Pageant had been touting the fact that she will be back on sunday. This will be the big return of the Vanessa Williams to the miss America Pageant. The there was talk about her getting her crown back or a new crown at least and heres the problem, there was some kind of miscommunication and executives are going crazy. Vanessa understood it she will go out on the stage and the executives will say we are sorry for stripping your crown heres a new one and present it to her and she will Say Something and that is the big come back. Well, the executives understood it that she will go out there, and sheila pol guys, and then they will hand her a crown. How do you mix that up. That is a big mix up. What are we go to go do. They have no idea what they will do. They have been promoting her for quite sometime being on this show but if she has to go apologize she will not do that. She will not show up. It will ruin this whole big moment. It will have to be pageant they will say sorry or she is not coming. Every second of this controversy 31 years ago. I felt badly for her. They stripped her of a crown. It turns out, back 31 years ago, Susan Charles took her place i believe was the the name of the woman. Heres another thing name another miss america, any of you, staff. Biggest miss america ever, ever. Because of the pictures. There is no way she would have ever sign up on stage and say sorry. They need her at this point to come on to their stage. They need to suck it up and say sorry, heres your crown, great moment and everyone claps. Do it for ratings at least. Ratings will be big for start of it. They want to see what will happen. He has had a tough time last couple movies around. Im hoping this one is good because im rooting for it. What is the name of it. The the visit. Here we are. We are visiting our grandparents for the first time. Great week. Bedtime here is 9 30. I know a story about when people go into a deep, beautiful sleep but not die. There is something wrong with nan and pop pop. What is that. Dont be scared, it is just your nana. Oh, dont be scared, im scared already sketch mccarthey. What did you think of it. There is nothing more creepy, sequence in the film when nana is playing hide and seek with the kid and shes crawling under the houses, one of the most scary scenes i have seen in a while. What is interesting about this movie, it is more comedy then it is a horror film. You wouldnt expect that from the trailer. The comedy element of it is so funny and audience literally loses it, and m knight sham lon has had a hard time making great film over past couple years. This is one of the best things he has done in a couple years. Im a fan. I like village, i liked lady in the water. Signs, unbreakable and sixth sense is classic. He is a phenomenal film maker. He reinvented the entire group with the sixth sense and this movie shot documentary style. Produced for five milliondollar. Low budget film shot like a documentary. Idea that she is kid, mother send the kids to visit his grandparents. They are crazy, something crazy weird going on. But there is a big twist which is what is great at. Movie is a great balance of comedy, horror. You will be scared. Disgusted as well. You will be laughing a lot, at the young tape. It is one of the best move is in a long time. I gave it four out of five. Wow. And it was shot in pennsylvania. He is from philadelphia he when they were shooting the movie, it was reportedly called sundowning when they were shooting to it keep title secret but that is part of the film itself. You will necessity why that title was used as a fake production title. The ladies here at the station want to you talk about the perfect guy. Please tell me this is a good movie, please. I talk to Morris Chestnut about how they shoot shower scenes in the film. Very epic shower sequence. Way they do that they roll steam into the the the shower they use hot water. Dealing with the character who breaks up with michael heelly. He becomes psychopath i can and crazy. She gets back together with her exboyfriend makes michael heelly upset. You have a very big dilemma. Lots of drama lots of comedy. Problem with the film is you have a script and predict ability that doesnt live up to the acting. Michael heelly and lathham is a really good bad guy. He plays the the part really well. Problem is it is very predictable. He is such a good bad guy but you know every step that he will take. You have seen movies like this before. So listen if you are a fan of these three actors i would recommend seeing it in a theater with a crowd. It is fun with the crowd. Overall product isnt that exciting. So i gave it two and a half what that means is all that means is go see it in the matinee if you want to see it in theaters. If not wait with the rental. I just felt very under whelmed with the overall product considering the the cast. Women just going to see Morris Chestnut and michael heelly there is still a good reason to go. For everyone looking for thaw do get shirt less scenes of Morris Chestnut. That is all we need. Were good. Thanks. But i will say, that she gets, she gets the one, really bad word in the movie and it is an epic moment. For that moment len would i recommend seeing it. Shes great. Overall film under whelming.
