Police are investigating three, three Home Invasions, and now first one, there was 88 year old man up in the northeast, and these thieves went into his house. They stole his car for one thing. And they stole that from him. They took a safe full of thousands in cash, we didnt get a number, but he probably had a lot of money, the neighbors say, and he also kept guns in that safe, three, maybe four, and so they took the safe from him, as well. Here is inspector scott small saying what they didnt take. They didnt take his life or harm him at all. But missing is his wifes cadillac, and again, it is a fleetwood chrome model from 1985 baby blue is the paint, dark blue in the vinyl cover, and again, in better shape than peters vinyl cover on his agree kad that i matched his wifes. And those chrome hubcaps all shiny should be the dead give away. His plans plate gyl335. And they stole that. Authorities say cell phones were taken at gunpoint, inside of the students home. But no one was injured. Well, President Donald Trump is calling syrian president assad an animal. And his secretary of state is trying to convince russia, thats where he is right now, to alter its support for assad. A man dragged off a packed United Airlines flight, by this point everyone has seen this video. A hundred times. Over and over, keeps getting played t has been creating a lot of controversy. Well of course it is cast a spotlight on the airlines, airline industry, practice of over booking, which is a common practice for sure. It is come on, but now some lawmakers can, they say, they want this practice dealt with. Karen . Exactly the case. Lots of culture investigation, calls look into this over booking. We know the victim in this case, learned a lot more about him, 69 years old, doctor, his name is david dow, still hospitalized from injuries he sustained. So many people in disbelief him being dragged off the overbooked flight that happened in chicago of course, and weve seen the video. I think the disbelief is you can be this physically man handled and pulled off and injured while just getting on flight. The Senate Commerce committee has asked United Airlines and the airport, there the authorities, to explain what happened. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie calling on the feds to stop letting airlines over book flights at all and removed passengers until a full review is completed of this. Delaware judge says he will announce his verdict maybe late today but looks like tomorrow, in the case of three teen girls charged in connection with the death of a classmate. The case centers around you know this face by now, 16 year old Amy Joyner Francis, who died hours after a fight in a High School Bathroom last april. This started trending around the world. Sure did. Prosecutors argue the teens conspired to confront amy over ongoing beef, and ultimately, that led to her death. The autopsy found amy died after undiagnosed heart defect, aggravated by the stress of that fight, in that bathroom. Fox legal analyst ken rotweiler joins us now. Lets break it down into two sides prosecution and defense. Right. What are the argue . The prosecution argues that this was a planned event, that they planned to attack, they had an argument the day before. Actually one of the teachers actually heard it in the bathroom. So there was at least testimony that this was kind after ongoing thing. What, meet me in the bathroom or they lured her in there . They basically said probably meet me in the bathroom, yes, probably what happened. The best thing that they have the prosecution was the cell phone video. Yes . Their . Yes. They showed it four times. Real a violent attack, i mean, you know, Amy Joyner Francis was on the ground, they were punching her, they were kicking, kicks to her head. Twentyfour times, supposedly, 24 blows, in 48 seconds. Now, the defense said no, only three of those punches landed but would you have to look at the video to make that determination. But the medical examiner were you talking about alex did autopsy and determined it was a homicide. So that was also a crucial piece of evidence for the prosecution. Now, what the defense said was defense just said hey this was a school yard fight. Nobody anticipate that someone was going to die during this. No one could have anticipated that Amy Joyner Francis had this underlying condition, called iceminger syndrome, very rare, hole in the heart, also has to did with stiff arteries in the lung. No one but the other girls wouldnt have known that. Exactly. First came out, something we were trying to understand, youre saying okay, we didnt know she had heart defect. If she hadnt had that heart defect probably wouldnt have died. If she wasnt in the bathroom being beat up she wouldnt have died in the first place wouldnt have been drillinger. Thats true. They say the medical examiner said the stress from the fight caused the triggering of the underlying condition, which caused the death. I tell you whats interesting, though, the charges here, one of the girls, 17 year old girl, was charged with criminally neglect homicide. Which is a felony. The other two girls were charged with criminal conspiracy with misdemeanor. Now why is that important . You have heard of the words expungement, under the courtesies tell you can get your record expunged as a juvenile. Clean it . Clean it like it never happened, you never even have to talk about it the rest of your life. Vukovich that done if it is a misdemeanor. You cant have that done if it is a violent felony. Okay. So one of the girls wont be able to have that. One of the girls, if convicted it, will happen tomorrow morning at 9 00. There is no mandate for jail time. So i dont think anybodys going to get jail time here. Because theyre minors. If they were adult, convicted, would serve eight years in jail for this crime. So it will be very interesting what the judges ruling is tomorrow. How old were the attacker . Seventeen, 17 years old, minors do. Have been tried as adults. Judge made determination early in the case that they would be tried as juveniles. If they were tried as adults, the punishment would be entirely different. It would be different. If i was amys daddy would want them tried as adults. No doubt. Just an opinion. No doubt about it. I think all par can relate to that. Talking about cosby . Talking about bill cosby bill lit. Let me tell but bill cosby. May 22 will be jury selection. It will be out in pittsburgh, because they decide that theyre going to pick Allegany County jury, not from Montgomery County. It will be potentially two week trial. So theyll be away from their homes for at least two weeks or so. Sounds short. That struck me, when i read about, that only two . Instead of 19. Instead of 13. It they had 13, parade of witnesses would have taken three, four weeks only adrian con stands, the complaint apartment, one other witness.
