president obama and president-elect donald trump will be at the white house, 11:00 this morning, to discuss the transition of power. they'll meet in the oval office. while first lady michelle obama and melania trump, soon to be first lady, will meet in the private residence in posse election speech yesterday pros obama pledged a smooth transition administrations like he experienced with george w. bush back in 2008. >> it is no secret that the president-elect and i have some pretty significant differences. but, remember, eight years ago, president bush and i had some pretty significant differences. the president bush's team could not have been more professional or more gracious in making sure we had a smooth transition, so that we could hit the grounds running. >> president obama, who is publicly called trump unfit for the oval offers, added that he was heart ends by message of unity and inclusion when he spoke with trump over the phone. >> and everybody's playing nice now. hillary clinton also spreading the message of unity, following her lost in the election, and her concession speech, hillary clinton tells back that's they must except the outcome of the election, and give president-elect donald trump a chance to leave. >> but -- a chance to lead. >> but i still believe in america and i always will. and if you do, then we must accept this result, and then look to the future. donald trump is going to be our president. we owe him an open mind and the chance to lead. >> she went on to say she actually almost, well, she did, she apologized to supporters for not winning. she said the loss certainly hurt, as you can imagine, and will hurt for a long, long time. >> well, 6:08. a horrifying ordeal for some temple student. mask gunmen forced their way into the home, in their home, in the middle of the night. >> those students then terror identified, we spoke to one of them, who described what happened. and jenny was with them. >> yes, good morning, mike. well the student tell me that they're shaken, they're scared, they're wondering why they were the chosen victims in this case. only two of the four temple university student were home at the time of this home invasion robbery. police say it happened just after 1:00 a.m., on the 1400 block every wilmington street. police say two mask men forced their way in to this off-campus home and used at least one again to threaten the victims. investigators say the robbers swiped several electronic devices, one of the victims describes the experience for us. he says the entire time he was in shock. >> really weird, just laying, watching it. v, and then like i thought i was, you know, one of my roommates, because the door open very slowly, we didn't hear him come in or anything. and i thought it was one of my roommate just saying that they were home until i saw, you know, a dude with a gun coming at me, putting in my face, telling me to shut the beep up. where is the money. was like duddy don't have any money. i'm in college. i have $40 in my wallet and that's a lot for me. >> these victims tell me that they've lived in this community for a long time, they feel very comfortable here. nothing like this has ever happened to them. they're shaken to say the least. mike, alex? >> thank you, so distracted here, all sorts of police activity. >> looks like some people are arriving there. >> you agree? >> for the marine corps. >> looks like the marines are jogging down market street. this is called market street. >> it is their birthday. >> it is the marines birthday. hey bob, how old are the marines? you should contact them. >> well, i will then, it is my brother's daughter's husband. >> okay? thank you for your service. okay, so, it is not just the people upset with donald trump's election, the other side is kind of acting out, too. a disturbing find in so philly. >> racist graffiti shows up the morning after the election, why the victims say it is related to donald trump being elected. >> atlantic city has lost control of it as eggs. state finance board voted yesterday to let governor christie administration handle the cash strapped shore town's assets. ac is half billion dollars in debt. the state now has the power to sell city as totes get the shore town in better financial shape t can also reverse decisions made by the city council and break union contract. this all comes after voters voted not to expand gambling in new jersey. >> i've lost my -- >> i think at least secure the position of ac as a blame bling city not bring the business elsewhere. >> i think why they're trying to preserve what's left, not so much the market share. >> the city's decline is due in large part to the decline of gambling. atlantic city has seen five of its 12 casinos close since 2014. >> i've lost my asset in atlantic city, many times. yes. >> i'm sure a lot of people have that same store. >> i normally on a saturday night. welshing president-elect donald trump heads to the white house to meet with president obama today. about 11:00 this morning, i think we'll probably have that for you here watch to expect when the two men with different views meet today. >> now that america has made their choice, the focus seems to be what are the first 100 days to be like, the meeting president obama has with president-elect donald trump, later today. >> going to happen about 11:00 this morning, who would have thunk this, months and months ago, that donald trump would be walking into the white house? he's going have to change his address from trump tower to 1600 pennsylvania avenue. >> so let's ask doug. doug, what do you think this meet be will be like? what's the first thing you think the president will say to the president's elect? >> you're hired. >> yes. yes, that's right, i hadn't thought about that. welcome to your new home? i don't know. there is a lot of animosity here, i don't think it was show throughout the course of the campaign. i think these two developed a genuine dislike for one another. but they will be sitting down together presumably in the oval offers today. officially white house will tell this is about the transition, and that president obama will talk about the things woe like to see carried over into the next administration, but, this is kind of meet and greet. i'm sure it will be. relatively pleasant, on the more pleasant side of things, maybe the meeting happening between first lady michelle obama and incoming first lady melania trump, will have separate meeting today, this meet and greet, then presumably the next time they'll see one another will be inauguration. >> well, doug, you mention the new administration, donald trump has a lot of decision toss make, had thousand appointments, so we're learning some about the chief of staff, the attorney general. >> it is a daunting task to come into the white house, with all of the people that you have to hire, specially, with someone that doesn't have much experience in governing. and his inner circle, notoriously, very small. now, new jersey governor chris christie is leading the transition efforts. so if you want a job with the administration, he is kind of the guy to see. it is not clear whether that's going to carry over into an actual role of the administration for him. but some of the names discussed, rudy guiliani, newt gingrich, alabama senator jeff sessions, prospect for secretary of defense, for instance. so there are a loft names out there. but, you have to go through this process of getting folks to be confirmed through congress. and never an easy task. >> no, but i actually enjoyed the nine's, it will be good to go back. hey, by the way, doug. >> going back to the 90s either way, right? >> true. are you at the white house? and if you are, how did you get that close? >> reporter: well, you think i'm about to be tackled or something? yes, we are. that's right. >> what? >> at the white house, this is the entrance to the west wing. i'm not going to try the door, it presumably is locked. >> if you look through the window this see, are they packing things up, starting to take down the curtains? >> u-haul boxes? >> that's right. the moving truck is parked out back, you can hear the packing tape being un wound, ya, ya. but, it is funny, because we always do see pictures of actual moving vans at the white house in january. >> sure. >> as the first family gets ready to move out. >> we will be watching 11:00 this morning when donald trump goes into the white house. >> thank you, doug. >> he gets good access, doesn't he? he is right up on the white house. >> don't normally see him that close to that door. sue? >> 6:20. it is thursday, the week sends almost here, so here's your preview. saturday, be prepared for this. it will be a lot colder, especially, in the morning, now, wove morning low of 37 degrees, but it will feel colder than that, and it will be windy. and that's important, because we're getting together, saturday morning at citizens bank park, for the walk to ends alzheimer's, so just layer it up. and then on sunday, it will be a chilly one for tailgating. but by the time we're in the middle of the game, the eagles game, that is, which is on sunday, at the linc, it will be about 58 degrees, here's the projection of windchills for saturday morning, about 8:00 it will feel like 24 degrees. we're okay with that, because it will be sunny, at the walk, and we hope to see you there, nothing any more on radar. all of the rain from yesterday, gone. we got about quarter of an inch in philadelphia. way less than we need. 41 degrees in the city right now. thirty-three in mount pocono, so only 36 degrees in wilmington. we are headed to about 58 degrees for high today. little bit milder for veterans day tomorrow. we talk about saturday, and sunday, as we head into next week, woe may inch back into the 60s, but generally, just dry weather, even though we could use some rain. bob kelly? >> oh, yes, sue. good morning, 62:00; stayed up all night with my easy bake oven be and made some vanilla cupcakes for national valina cupcake day. >> how sweet of you? >> isn't that great? little traffic theme, little stop signs, little yield signs, little conshy curve signs for you there. all right? so celebrating national van all cupcake day, intern on her way back with some vanilla cupcakes, 42, no problems or delays yet. everybody is damp and wet, so as we start to see volume start to build, be careful coming out of the neighborhood. that first stop sign could be littered with leaves all over the roadway, matted down from the rain, and could cause for some slippery conditions. already, causing delays on the lansdale-doylestown and paoli thorndale line. i told you about the thorndale line, that tree lined main line regional rail line that always winds up with those slippery rales when we get some wet leaves. so be ready for delays this morning, eastbound schuylkill, not bad, only 15 minutes, eastbound 422, looking good, coming in from volume edge ville into kop. alex backs over to you. >> thank you, bob. eight games in. how the eagles are approaching the last half of the season, with their play-off chances on the line. do you think we can make it to the playoffs or are we done here?
