It happened at midnight at the sunoco gas station on edgemont avenue and east 22 street. This is in chester, the victim, was pumping gas when the suspect opened fire. The victims vehicle, you see right there, shot up several times. The gas lines of the station have been shut off while the crime scene is being investigated. Also, following breaking news, out of kensington, a 19 year old man in the hospital after being shot in the leg. This happened on the 1800 block every east clementine street around 1 30 this morning. He was sitting on the steps of abandoned row home when someone shot him in the thigh. Now police do not know if he was the intended target. To another breaking story, police are trying to figure out who started two car fires overnight, in kingsessing. This one happened on the 1,000 block of 56th street, south 56th street. Now, to a developing story here at 5 04, park in norristown is closed this morning, after a 19 Year Old Girl says she was sexually assaulted at gunpoint. Police now searching for the suspect. She said he sexually assaulted her before taking off. She called police, West Norriton, east norriton, Montgomery County detective, all responded to the scene here. It was a massive search, officials even closed the park for the rest of the day, while they tried to find that man. People who showed up here, and found out about the news, were completely shocked. Just because it is so open, and there are so many people use it, walkers, people having their dokes around there, there is a baseball field thats right around there. And despite it being a surveillance camera, clear picture, this is how police were able to identify and positively by comparing his picture, with the mugshot that they had, and then they brought the victims in from the previous shooting in philadelphia saturday on 77th street, and then, they had this great witness, who lieutenant john walker talks about here, who remembered seeing a charcoal gray volvo speeding away from the murder scene in haverford and said, hey recalling im put too long and two together. Thats the murder victims getaway car. Haverford received a typical from a neighbor in their township who actually saw the gray volvo speeding at high rate of speed out of the township. They were able to record the first three numbers of the tag and explain that the last four digits may have had two or three, eights, not sure of the sequence, this is where our Pennsylvania State unit comes in, intelligence unit. Theyre able to do a search of cars in the immediate vicinity which led us to the car we recovered at 5100 block of locust street. That was the 2,004 volvo s60 that was used in the incident in philadelphia. It is also believed to be used as the getaway car and the incident in haverford. Reporter police last check that car just to get dna evidence out of there where he was holding the steering while, just to get more evidence against him. And less than an hour later hes dead. Fortyone year old Anthony Reeves was found shot to death, monday afternoon, inside his car in southwest philadelphia. Reeves had just left court in Delaware County, 45 minute earlier. He was a defendant in the highly publicized operation bennett trifecta, undercover drug operation, that took down a reputed drug gang from Ruth L Bennett homes in chester. Refs pled guilty to being a member after drug organization, conspiracy, drug charges, his sentence was just eight years probation, for three felonies, no jail time. A sign many believe shows that reeves was, in fact, cooperating. It was a very lenient sentence, you got like three felonies on this guy, and for him to just head up and walk out of court, there was a big deal made. We would call it an execution, i mean, they meant to do this guy to get him from both sides of the car. A spokesperson for the attorney general confirms reeves was cooperating, but was not a witness in the upcoming trial later this month. The spokesperson said reeves was offered relocation twice, but declined it. The owner of Day Care Center in easton pleads guilty in the death after three month old girl. Well, this is a massive area where police were searching so hard trying to track down the suspect, it was no easy task, they did have to close down the park for part of the day yesterday to get that done. One north eighth street in kensington, where they know he lived, and then hit the girlfriends house, the family house at 51st and locust where they found the car he was using saturday when he killed a guy in half forwards. And when he tried to kill two other guys in philadelphia, on 77th street, police say, but the car was there, and he was gone. So, where is he now . Heres lieutenant john walker. We believe hes in the city at this point. But we know he also has contact outside of the state of pennsylvania. Were not sure at this point. Again, he definitely left the house at some point before we were able to get in there. So we think hes in the city. Again, were asking him to do the right thing, turn yourself in, be responsible for what you d and anybody knows this individual, to dot right thing, call 911. You got to, again, family here, who obviously has lost a loved one in haverford, but also have two young men who in Philadelphia County were just trying to dot right thing, and they get fired upon, and almost kill themselves. Snow guy is a dangerous individual. Not sure what he can do at this point, so we need him off the street. Well, thomas, the last time i was over here, reporting on on a wanted individual, it was the man suspected of stabbing david oh. He was watching us, decided to hundred himself in. This time i doubt this guy is going to turn himself in. This is a more serious crime. And this guy, likely, realizes hes got nothing to lose now. So hes got that 40 caliber gun, and thats why police say if you see him, do not try to even let him know that youre calling 911, get to safe spot, call 911, and tell police police. This guy has history . Yes, sadly he had a gun charge three years ago that just got dismissed with prejudice, meaning, the just wasnt happy the witnesses were than the, so justice misses the case this guy gets nothing even slap on the wrist for, that he was on probation whether arrested for the gun charge which should have almost locked him up instantly, but the case goes to the courtesies tell. Just like Charles Ramsey the former chief, used to tell us almost on weekly basis, we lock him up, and the court let him go. Yes, we will keep showing his picture over and over again.
