If you go out, mike, and somebody wants a selfie from you and you see that person one night, thats nice. Well, how about if for the next six, seven, eight nights in a row, that same person every place that you go comes up to you and has a camera, wants a selfie, and you see this person over and over and over and over again . At some point it goes beyond the pail of ac fan and gets to the point where maybe it is fearful. I call it the creepy rule. Once it starts to become creepy it is probably stalking. At that point you may want to let the authorities know this person is basically following you every place that go. Okay, say it gets to be creepy like that. And in the case of Sandra Bullock<\/a>, i think it is. She has had couple of cases of guys hanging around her house. What is the rule . When can you put them in jail . It is you have. Do you have proof that this person is stalking you, that theyre around every place that you go, you have to be the the law in california, and here, you have to have a reasonable fear of bodily harm, that there has to be something about what this person does to put you in reasonable fear of bodily harm. So, it has to be repeated conduct. The problem is that you could actually get hurt by this person before, you know, you actually have this reasonable fear. So, it is a very loose law. It is very tough. You have to prove to the authorities that this person was, in fact, following you around, so think about how hard that is to prove . You know, related to every day people, too, this poor, 23 year old woman, who graduated from the art institute, you know there is guy, apparently, who allegedly killed her, lived down the hall from her, in the same boarding house. Right. Yes. It gets you know whats tough . You cant get a restraining order, mike, against anybody thats basically a nonrelative. Restraining orders are basically restrict dollars to relative or people that you have a close relationship with, somebody that youre dating, or something that awed long standing relationship w just because somebody gives you the creeps, it is very difficult to, you know, get any type of order against them restraining them from being around you.
