We are following breaking news in mt. Airy, four people shot and one of those victims is in critical condition. Lets get out to jenny joyce with what we know, jenny . Reporter good morning, karen. This happened right outside a 7165 bar and restaurant here on germantown avenue around 2 15 this morning. We are zooming into a bullet hole in the front window of the restaurant, a total of eight shots were fired and four people were struck by bult et cetera. Police say bar was lively at closing time a live band was performing on the stage minutes before the shooting happened. Apparently a fight broke out inside of the bar, the people involved were ushered outside, that is when shots were fired. One of the victims is a female bar tend shore ran outside to help break up the fight, she was struck in the leg and is in stable condition, one man was shot in the side and in the torso a third was hit in the hand. All three are in stable condition. Police say when they arrived on the scene they saw cars speeding away officers followed, car crashed in the utility pole about six blocks down the street at germantown and upsol a man shot four times in the torso, found in the back seat of the car, his friends were trying to get him to the hospital. Police successfully transported him to Einstein Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition. At this point Police Believe there was only one shooter not in custody yet but police are hopeful it is just a matter of time. Some victims once in stable condition are talking, talking to detectives, individuals that drove some of the victims to the hospital, they are cooperating with us and then of course the employees of the restaurant they are also being questioned and they are cooperating. Reporter police say there are cameras inside of the restaurant, they believe the shooter was in there hanging out before opening fire so his face should show up on that Surveillance Video.
