The 4900 block of north warnock street. There was a man in his late 40s, who was shot in the neck, he is in stable condition over at Einstein Medical Center how about this one . Notice a woman standing next to stroller with a baby inside suddenly a man walks up from hine, leans over into the stroll. The woman notices him, a man rushes over to push him away, there is some sort of struggle, and they immediately leave the store. There are several witnesses inside of the store, one of them calls police. The man, who is well known to police, was still at the store when police arrived. They spoke to him briefly. They want the couples side of the story at this point. Not only do we need a complaining witness to really solidify what we believe we saw in the video is in fact what we saw, but also not entirely sure that the caretakers or the guardians of the child as depicted on the video are in fact the par ends. Hey, thomas, investigators call it a peculiar set of circumstances, was it an innocent encounter or was this attempted abduction in they dont think they can get the answer to that until they finds the couple who was with this baby inside this dunkin d donuts. Watch the encounter happen on surveillance video. It was sunday morning around 10 00 a. M. When a woman standing near a stroller, inside the dunkin donuts, notices cents a man. He had approached and leaned into the baby, when sudden layman jumps into action, strong arming that manna way from the woman, and the baby. The couple leaves the store but someone who was inside did call Police Concerned about what they saw. Police come to the scene, the man is still there, but the couple now no where to be found. It certainly looks like he approached the child with some level of aggression, so much so, this is another thing, that we reacted to, is the reaction of the parent. You see, it looks like the father or the male figure, chases him out the door. So their reaction makes us believe it was something a little more malignant than what a cute kid. Well, police say they dont want to release too much information about the man, because hes in the been charged with a crime, honestly, he may not be charged if they cant finds out more information, with no audio on the surveillance video, tough for investigators to know the nature of that encounter. Was the man simply admiring a baby, as some people do, or was he trying to snatch that baby out of the stroller . The couple can help them answer that question. Thomas, karen . He threatened to douse the clerk with fuel, and set her on fire, if she didnt hand over some money. So, she followed the store policy right, there handed over 20 bucks.
