>> sue, is this the same storm that is going to mess up our weekend, our who will take weekend. >> yes. you will recall monday and tuesday we were talking about perfect weather for the holiday weekend. that is not going to be the case, it looks like, the thing is about this storm, and, hi, here we go, hi, the thing about this storm is it is still down in florida and it needs to get a little closer before we can tell you, more certainty what it will do with you we can tell you we have tropical will california storm watches for our coastal counties, we're talking sussex, cape may, atlantic, half of burlington and ocean counties in new jersey. here's a look at not a tropical storm but now hermine and it is all of the rain that is something on northern florida, all the way down to tampa and now we understand there are a couple tornado warnings up in southern georgia as a result of the storm. it extend up in south carolina and north carolina. for us though it is a beautiful morning. all of the rain is out of here. really refreshing walking out the door this morning we are at 66 degrees with 65 percent relative humidity. the nice breeze out of the north at 12 miles an humid. there is not a lot of humidity. it feels nice here at 4:00 a.m. on the boardwalk. you don't expect crowds even though this is a 24 hour town, casinos never close. we do see some signs of life like we don't see on a lot of days but everything is real nice, cool, collected down here and you see a big stage there on the beach right next to the pier, they have got three big outdoor concerts this weekend, first last night zach brown band and disappointing crowd size according to the people who went. they had hoped for 30,000, and they gave away 20,000 tickets but the beach concert goers were surprised they said that there were more people here. so they have another concert, today, florida georgia line which is a popular country act and then on monday, blink 182. it is a three day outdoor concert venue and maybe they will avoid the worst of the weather but we have that other big outdoor concert made in america which is looking at some rough weather. sue serio, you know and dave warren you are in the weather and traffic business and you you know, that we have not heard the phrase tropical storm watch along the jersey shore since you know what, hurricane sandy, is that right dave. >> that is exactly right people are still remember that very well and so we are watching that closely but we want to watch the roads. in case you are heading down the shore this weekend not much traffic this morning. is there construction on i-95, just slower traffic getting by there. this will be pick up later this morning. we have vine street expressway a few lanes blocked there all lanes are block, this will later this morning because of construction. accident to talk about this is in delaware, dover, high street all lanes are block, you have to get around this using governor's boulevard there but that is the issue that we have this morning. also, made in america, as steve mentioned, logan square 22nd street between pennsylvania avenue and ben franklin parkway and reduced to breaking news from mayfair police investigating a deadly hit and run, this one involving a cyclist. >> jennifer joyce on this story, good morning. >> reporter: good morning lauren and chris. two days ago i was on the scene of a very similar hit and run crash, in this case, a man is dead. the accident scene brutal and car involved is mia, according to police just before 12:45 a champagne or silver colored car, nailed the man on the bicycle on the 5800 block of frankford avenue, the impact of this crash, launch the man 50 feet his bike slipped into two pieces and was found 75 feet down the road. police say four three-year old cyclist has severe trauma to his head and upper body. he died at the scene a half mile from his home. apparently the man was taking precautions, he had at least three safety lights on his bike and was traveling down a marked bike lane when he was struck in what police are describing a nasty hit and run crash. >> this was a very violent crash. that the victim was riding, was broken in half. the victim's body was launched about 50 feet north of where we believed the initial point of impact was. >> investigators say after striking the cyclist a vehicle jumped a curve and hit a sign and took off northbound on frankford avenue. there are pieces of the car that were left on the scene and investigators are collecting and will use those as evidence, to determine the make/model, of this vehicle involved. we do know that the carries missing its left side mirror and has damage to the front portion of the car, so call police if you have any leads in this case. category one hurricane with 75 miles an hour wind. we will get another update at 5:00 from the national hurricane center and there is a path of the storm. and, in southern new jersey what it does after and it will really determine the rest of the forecast. it gets bigger once we get closer to our area but one thing we can be sure office are your surf and high seas. here's spaghetti model one tropical island. never want to park your car in the same old streets where it is flooded because you don't want to go back to philadelphia, south jersey, inland homes after long labor day weekend if beach. that even though we will not have any bad weather at the start of the labor day weekend if you go in the ocean at this time of the year, dave you constantly warn them, water is warm but not new update just realizing this ourselves from the the national hurricane center. it is back to tropical storm hermine expect to retain tropical storm status as it moves through georgia, the carolinas, and then eventually it looks like out to sea off the coast of north carolina, and then in a path north wart at this point but staying off shore at least the storm will stay off shore, effects of the storm are what we expect to feel as we head in the second half, lets say of the holiday weekend. future wind gusts watch the shore 39 miles an hour tropical storm force winds. so wind gusting that high on saturday, and then by sunday they are as high as 50 miles an hour those wind at the shore. again, best estimate we have as far as tropical impacts with rain, they will be more at the shore, moderate inland and minor will probably get some rain in the city but nothing like what they will expect at the shore. if you are heading to the shore sunny and nice today, tomorrow most of the daze will be okay, late in the day we will get some rain rolling in and then rain could impact sunday and monday, with rain, and wind both days. that is your seven day forecast. 84 degrees today and then
