Reporter good morning to you, the National Media descended on Montgomery County just as bill cosby legendary entertainer answered charges of Sexual Assault in a case that they have that dates back to the mid 2,000s, 78 year old cosby looked frail and required help walking into a tiny elkins park courtroom as the world watched where he was charged with three count every aggravated indecent assault, Montgomery County prosecutors say back in 2004, cosby met the victim Andrea Constand, worked for the temple Basketball Team at the time. Investigators say he invited her back to his cheltenham township home. Gave her three blue pills with a glass of wine, thats when prosecutors say that cosby fondled her from behind, pulled his hands, put his hand down her pants, and assaulted her. Charges filed today as a result of new information that came to light in july of 2015. Statute of limitations in this type of case is 12 years. Reopening this case was not a question; rather, reopening this case was our duty. This case involves a woman and a man who had a concentual adult relationship over time. And another two were arrested yesterday in turkey over suspected links to the isis and plans to carry out suicide attacks during new years celebrations in turkey. And back here at home, a north Philadelphia Community holds a vigil for murdered friends and loved ones. Last night the vigil was held on the same day that the Police Commissioner released the crime stats for the year. Current Police Records show there were 270 homicides, thats 12 increase from last year, shootings up 18 . And 84 of homicide victims died of gunshot wounds. Thats truck, because that does represent an increase in the number of gunshot victims that weve had this year, and obviously thats not good. There were a lot of illegal guns out there. A lot of people that arent afraid to use guns. Commissioner ramsey says despite the increase this year, homicides have gone down drastically over the past eight years, he said this is the First Time Since 1969 that weve had three years in a row of less than 300 murders. Police say at about 12 30 they found a 21 year old man on the sidewalk who had been shot multiple times. He had been riding a bike when he was shot and then he ran down the street to get away. He fell down and collapsed and died later at the hospital. It is 4 10. We all want to know whats going to happen.
