it's windy. it was windy out there today. >> it sure was. >> i'll tell that you. >> all because of that nor either. >> okay. >> it's stuck much it's not moving very rapidly so we're dealing with the wind. we're also still dealing with snow showers associated with it kind of coming back toward our area. so let's look at ultimate doppler right now. you can really see that white showing up on the map. that is snow. it's moving from new england back toward our area kind of wrapping around pinwheeling around that area of low pressure. so as we zoom in a little clos closer, it's pretty dry and quiet in parts of south jersey and delaware, but once you move north and west, in particular, toward the lehigh valley and the pocono mountains, that's where we're looking at more of the steadier snowfall and that's because we have that winter weather advisory posted for carbon and monroe counties. so a couple of inches likely here. also moving in to northampton county lehigh county around allentown moving back toward berks county, lancaster, northern chester county looking at some of those flurries, but we're getting that break along the i-95 corridor and the philadelphia area but earlier this afternoon we saw some pockets of flurries and sprinkles but temperatures were above freezing so it doesn't amount too much to across the area. for the remainder of the evening and overnight it stays cold. scattered snow showers mainly north and west. but tomorrow, we could see a snow shower, passing flurries move through the philadelphia area so just keep that in mind. friday, partly sunny. but it stays chilly. we'll gradually warm up as we move into the upcoming weekend. but look at the 48 hour loop. you can see that slow moving area of low pressure, that nor'easter, that brought us the rain, the wind, over the past couple of days, most of the energy has moved well to the north and to the east of us. but we're still dealing with that wrap around moisture as that area of low pressure is slow to go so that's drawing down more of the moisture and that snow and we'll keep snow showers in the forecast tomorrow. so as we roll the clock tonight most of the action north and west. here's 4:00 a.m. when you're watching sue likely tracking some flurries across the area. and then during good day, we're still looking at that threat for some light snow north and west. and a passing snow shower or a wet snowflake even in center city as we move toward tomorrow afternoon and evening. but otherwise we'll be drying out but most of that snowfall will accumulate toward the pocono mountains and the lee his valley as we move into early tomorrow morning. not anticipating accumulating snowfall along i-95 or the city for that matter. and them as we continue on, we're looking at most of it coming to an end. 43 degrees was the high temperature today. but look at the temperatures. we're chilly. feels like temperatures are only in the 20s right now across the philadelphia area. so if you're stepping outdoors, bundle up and we're still looking at those flurries across the area for tonight. and then tomorrow, keep an eye on the sky for passing snow flurry or shower. but most of the accumulating snow once again will be confined to the pocono mountains and, of course, we'll gradually start to warm up as we move into the upcoming weekend and we're talking much more about the weather changes ahead at 6:00. >> all right. , scott. thank you. maybe we'll see the sun again, too. >> thank you. >> i forgot what it was. >> a little yellow ball in the sky. >> i gotcha.
