When his helicopter went down. Witnesses describe a fiery and frightening scene. It sounded like a missile coming in. It was weird. You know, i just all die was duck. Thats when he heard a loud noise from behind and witnessed a medical helicopter take a knows dive. Sounded like the propellers werent moving. Like it was struggling and kind of looked up and i seen it like going straight down, you know, at the last minute. Big explosion, names, felt, you know, the heat from it. Kind of just shocked. Reporter chopper went down in Drainage Ditch behind the us postal facility. Dominic kara bellow works across the street. The way it took this building and it rocked it. So i thought it was going we started running out this way when we look across we saw that big ball of fire and the smoke. Reporter Marian Williams was just leaving her business in the Industrial Park to meet her husband for lunch when she heard a loud noise. I was walking down the back ramp and i heard this noise and then i looked up in the sky. Reporter when he she saw a huge plume of black smoke and heard an explosion before the chopper burst into names. It was terrible. It still s im still shaking. Because i know theres a life there and its gone. Reporter marian and her husband jay raced over to see if they can help, but immediately knew it was too late. It was just horrendous. Reporter 37yearold pilot from franklinville, new jersey, was pronounced dead at the scene. Those who witnessed the crash still shaken by what happened here. Very scary. It was scary. Terrible tragedy. Reporter now no one on the ground was hurt. Considering their a lot of businesses around here and it was lunch time, that is a blessing. One witness believes that the pilot actually knew he was in trouble and intentionally tried to crash away from buildings and people. The ntsb is due here in about an hour to begin its investigation along with the Delaware State Police and the faa. Lucy . Thank you, dawn. Crews are still on the scene what was a gas leak in new jersey. This morning a rail car started leakinleaking propylene in Logan Township near the pure land Industrial Park. We do have that marginal risk for severe weather. Currently no severe thunderstorm warnings but those storms still packing a punch downpours, ponding on the roads. So right now through seven storms popping up and once again we still have the opportunity through about 11 00 oclock midnight for scattered showers and storms. The main threats gusty winds and hail. Thank you much, dave. Get back inside. Jurors holding the fate of south jersey dad accused of killing his little boy are taking another look at evidence. In the second full day of deliberations jurors listened to a conversation david creato had with his son mother a mother after authorities found brendans body. He did not know she was recording the call. And she asked him if the door to his apartment the night their theeyearold disappeared was lock. Creato said the door did not lock properly was easy to open. Now, jurors also listened to Police Interviews with creato and the 911 call. Prosecutors have admitted all they have is circumstantial evidence and creato has maintained brendan must have wandered out of his Haddon Township home in october of 2015. Deliberations resume on tuesday. A new jersey doctor just got his license pulled for over prescribing opioids he is the first doctor cited under a new law. Theyve pull his medical license and accused him of writing prescriptions for tens of thousands of opioids for several patients. Dr. Glass, the state says you written a large amount of opioids to people and taken your license. Can you tell me at all about it, doctor . Law enforcement believes the drugs like oxycodone and die as is he pan are landing on the streets in part because doctors are prescribing massive doses of them. Glass is accused of exactly th that. Well zoom into center city, west philadelphia, east falls, kensington, port richmond, looking at that red. That is some very intense rainfall. This is lifting on off to the north.
