the neck several hours as we lose the daytime heating but we'll take a tour across the area and in around philadelphia still a couple of pockets of sprinkles also moving toward bensalem, cherry hill, moving toward the moorestown westampton area moving a little farther off to the west. this thunderstorm over lancaster county dumping very heavy rainfall. look at the red probably 3-inches per hour there. towards sections of the lehigh valley the pocono mountains, jim thorpe right now also toward penn forest looking at moderate to heavy rain and in particular sussex county has seen several inches of rain. just to the south of the seaford area we'll zoom in little closer. up to 4-inches of rainfall here. so we have that flash flood warning there for sussex county until 7:00 o'clock. so hour by hour, that coverage will continue to diminish once we lose the daytime heating coming up we'll talk about excessive heat warnings and heat advisories for the latter part of the week. just how hot lucy and iain it will feel. >> all right, talk to you soon, scott. stay prepared for severe weather by downloading the fox 29 news app. you'll get live radar and alerts sent to your phone just search for it in the apple or google play stores. right now investigators are trying to find the gunman who killed an allentown barber as he sat in front of his shop. the violence happened in the middle of the afternoon. investigators are trying to sort out what led up to the deadly shooting. >> today our dawn timmeney spoke with relatives and neighbors of barber eric wagner. >> he was very family oriented, like got the family together, did anything he can for everybody. he was a great man. >> reporter: 18-year-old dugan can't believe his uncle is gone. killed as he sat outside his business. 40-year-old eric wagner was shot several times by a man walking by the headliner barbershop on the 100 block of south eighth street just before 4:30 yesterday afternoon. >> i couldn't believe it. it was like crazy. >> reporter: this woman lives in an apartment right across from the barbershop. she was watching television when she heard the gunshots. >> when i opened my door i seen the guy laying on the floor and i started screaming and hollering and crying and called the cops he's been shot. >> reporter: it's not clear why wagner was targeted and police aren't saying much. neighbors say wagner always sat out in front of his shop which he had recently renovated. >> they're very good guys. respectful. friendly and they're always asking me how i am because i'm on the dialysis kidney machine. >> reporter: memorial now marks the spot where wagner lost his life. many stopping today to light a candle in his memory. it's a tough reality for his nephew the high school senior says wagner was his mentor and helped him get a football scholarship to rutgers university. the teen says his uncle's murder leaves a hole in the hearts of those who loved him. especially the victim's eight-year-old son eric, jr. >> took him from his son, his family, his wife, crazy. we going to through this. it's a big loss. i hope he get justice though. >> reporter: investigators are not commenting on a motive here. witnesses say the shooter got away down an alley. anyone with information is asked to call allentown police. dawn timmeney, fox 29 news. on top of developing story. temple university's president is on his way out. it comes after yesterday's vote of no confidence by the school's board of trustees. now this would become the second forced departure of a top temple university administrator in just the past month. >> financial troubles brought the university to this point. let's get out to fox 29's bruce gordon who joins us live from temple university. so bruce, what's next? >> reporter: well, as you said, first came that vote of no confidence. next on july 21st the board of trustees here at temple will vote to fire university president neal theobold. less than four years into his tenure here in north philadelphia. theobold was brought here from indiana university as a top notch educator and a skilled bean counter. but a shortage of beans has now led to his premature departure. reaction to president theobold's ouster was decidedly mixed among temple students we talked to. >> your thoughts on his departure especially under these circumstances? >> really sad. i really liked him. i met him few times. close friend of mine. >> reporter: loss to the university? >> definitely. definitely. >> even being part of student government i don't know much about him. >> reporter: his departure doesn't mean a whole lot to you. >> not to me personally. >> reporter: his firing is tied to a hole in the financial aid budget that grew from $9 million last year to 22 million this year. last month theobold ousted temple's provost blaming him for the mess but spokesman for the trustees says it was theobolds to clean up. >> that deficit and that problem was the responsibility of the president. >> reporter: leadership problem. >> it was a leadership an management problem. >> reporter: temple has since shifted funds to fill that hole. but kevin feeley says theobold kept trustees in the dark. >> the role of the president to keep them informed about the operation of the university and the existence and growth of the deficit like this. >> reporter: that didn't happen. >> it didn't happen. >> reporter: faculty union president hochner likens theobold firing to an earthqua earthquake. >> the buildings are still standing but we're not sure what damage has been done until we clear away the wreckage. >> reporter: hochner believes and feeley confirms theobold's firing will not derail temple's plans to build a 35,000 seat football stadium on campus. >> i think it's going to be awfully expensive and i think there's going to be turmoil with the community. but that would have been, n would have happened regardless. >> reporter: who was president? >> right. >> reporter: we were unable to reach president theobold for comment this afternoon. we do know the university trustees plan to appoint richard engler former administrator as acting president temple university come july 21. lucy. >> thank you very much, bruce. skyfox over the scene of a large procession in wilmington. as dozens of firefighters and other first responders from across delaware honored volunteer firefighter tim mc clan hasn't. the firefighter' body is now at at a funeral home in lewes. his funeral is sunday. he died monday afternoon after falling out of a helicopter during a training exercise at the delaware coastal airport. the faa is leading the investigation into what went wrong. saying goodbye to three of five officers killed in the dallas police ambush. thousands of mourners tended services for officers brent thompson, sergeant michael smith and senior corporal lorne ahre ahrens. a sniper killed them at a black lives matter protest last thursday. the wife of brent thompson called the shooter a coward saying "you know your hate made us stronger". services for the other two officers michael krol and patrick zamarripa are later this week. happening now the son of a man killed in police involved shooting is urging calm despite the chaos that spark since his death of his father. alton sterling's 15-year-old son cameron touched so many hearts when he broke down on camera just hours after his father was killed and now a week later, cameron says his father was a goodman and that his death was a sacrifice to show how bad things are in his neighborhood. the shooting death is resulted in nationwide protests and police have also announced the arrest of a three people they say were plotting an tack on police in the city. now the teen says everyone has to come together. >> i feel that everyone gets you can protest but i want everyone to protest the right way. protest in peace, not guns, not drugs, not alcohol, not violen violence. >> alton sterling was shot dead by police officers last week after cops responded a to a disturbance at a convenience store. torments night police are loo looking for the ma who robbed a corner store in philadelphia's lawn crest neighborhood. take a good look at this the surveillance video from the minnow mart on 900 block of sanger street. the man gets a drink from the fridge and when he goes to pay for it, he whips out a gun. he asks the employee if he wants to die? mahal sent a letter to local 54 warning that the company's health care offer expires monday and still we have no end in sight for the strike. the pennsylvania department of revenue says it's reaching out to more than 800 taxpayers whose personal information was on a laptop that was stolen last month. officials say auditors were in san francisco to conduct a routine audit when someone smashed the windows of the auditor's rental vehicle and took four laptops. officials say the data on one of those laptops may not have been secure. the department is contacting the affected people to notify them about the theft and offer credit monitoring and other fraud protection services. exactly one week after someone stole a treasured american flag from a north wildwood home, someone returned it today. it proudly flu again. >> such a moment. today north wildwood's mayor veterans from the vfw american legion and vietnam veterans association joined the corcoran family to raise their precious flag yet again. they fly it once a year to honor their brother patrick corcoran. a father judge high school graduate who died in the vietnam war. navy never found his body so this flag that draped his empty coffin was the last closest thing the corcoran family has of him. to get it back, is overwhelming. >> thank you for expressing this to us, the support made -- the support just made this so much easier center city area, getting a dry break but as we move toward mt. laurel, also, willingboro, bristol, lumberton still some areas of light rain but nothing like what we saw earlier. in the meantime,
