to allegations of sexual assault and sexual harassment. >> i feel as though it was sort of kept in the dark and they weren't informed and this is a situation where people would feel safer had they been informed. >> the problem i think involved with this is you don't get a lot of word of mouth after these events because they're dealt with with discretion and that's by design and that's by design for all of the parties involved. >> reporter: so this rally was hell on the steps of memorial hall. students rallying after an allegation that a sociology professor offered an aide to if he male student in exchange for sexual favors, and text messages that even led to threats. that's what the allegations say. the administration says that all they can do is evaluate these matters and they sky fox over the scene of a massive warehouse fire in kensington. and you can see the damage left tonight is devastating right there from that video. 120 firefighters battling the flames. two firefighters have minor injuries and investigators say a 25 year old man has burns on 80% of his body. firefighters say he was on fire when he came running out of the vacant building on the 2400 block of north american and york streets. right around 2:30 this morning. the fire quickly spread to adjacent paper storage facility and all that fuel made fighting it very difficult. >> because paper storage that's a lot of fuel and creates another challenge. but once we were able to get enough resources on the scene the members did great job of containing the fire and putting it out. >> this afternoon firefighters have been hosing down hot spots while investigators go through the charred remains of the building to figure out what started it. >> police are expanding the search foreman horse pike this morning. investigators say the winslow township police unit collided with another vehicle. the officer suffered minor injuries. the driver of the other vehicle was not hurt. was great lesson in conflict resolution that began with a fairly common dispute in our high schools. a rules crack down that had students all fired up. >> reporter: administrators and students met to sift through an eventful day in the life of cheltenham high. a rules crack down and the resulting protest that could have ripped this highly regarded school apart. >> we just didn't think that was acceptable at all. >> reporter: 500 students more than a third of total enrollment here walk out of first period classes for a massive sit in to protest rules tightened by the new high school principal. no eating outside. a ban on the wearing of head phone in the hallways and restrictions on stairwell use during the shortened time to get from class to class. >> they never had been enforced before. so it was a huge change every everything just happened so quick and it was the beginning of the year and we just -- we felt we weren't being heard. >> reporter: students gave administratoadministrators advaf their plans. both decides admit they could have done more talking before they blocked the hallways. >> they went from zero to 60 because they didn't know. >> reporter: the students insist the sit in was necessary but admit it got bigger and noisier than they had plan. not all the kids seemed willing to yous their ears along with their mouths. >> we can't expect with students in exchange for an early end to the protests and they did. compromising the rules with lots of input from the kids. >> it's more important that the ideas and the communication come from dialogue going and keep communication between the students and the administration. >> that dialogue continues on monday when principal parker meets with all interested students during lunch periods to southeast a little breezy at 13 miles per hour. temperatures right now generally in the low to mid 60s. we have 62 in trenton. 65 currently as we move no atlantic city. upper 60s in dover as well as allentown. already into the 50s for the pocono mountains. do you have that friday din are in date? looking pretty good if you're stepping outdoors. grab that light jacket or sweater. we're looking at temperatures in the low 60s by 11:00 o'clock tonight. and we'll keep some clouds around during the overnight as well as early on saturday. high pressure stationed to the north and east of us but look at the wind direction out of the east coming in off of the ocean so that will allow for a few more clouds to move in overnight especially south jersey and sections of delaware. but during the up coming weekend, we'll be out ahead of our next weather maker that will move in late sunday giving us winds out of the south that will warm us back up to a summer like feel for saturday as well as sunday. so dry and quiet for tonight across the area. moving the clock ahead saturday morning, pretty quiet conditions expected throughout the day tomorrow. tomorrow night, a few more clouds as disturbance will move off the coast to our east keeping us dry and then as we move into sunday morning, we'll start ought with some clouds member a little bit of fog and then temperatures will sky rocket into the afternoon out ahead of that front that will arrive late in the day on sund sunday. here's sunday at 7:00 p.m. you can see a line of showers perhaps some thunderstorms that won't really arrive until the sun sets north and west. so it will be a late day shower as we move into sunday across the area. but for tonight it's mostly cloud dough, cool conditions, 50 in the suburb. 57 degrees for the low temperature in the city. and then as we move ahead to saturday, temperatures top out near 80 degrees. we'll call it partly sun into. we'll have some periods of clouds as well as some sunshine. but definitely a summer like feel. those winds will be out of the south five to 10 miles per hour. if you're headed down the shore this up coming weekend, we'll call saturday mostly cloudy, low 70s for highs. warmer on sunday with temperatures around 76 degrees. water temperatures still pretty mild right around 71 degrees. the temple gape logging from the tow good. temperatures once again tomorrow in the upper 70s. low 80s for high temperatures moving into your sunday. and then that late afternoon evening shower chance if we have that shower chance it should be after the eagles game as we move into monday, though, cooler, temperatures 10 degrees cooler than sun today only in the low 70s. we keep high temperatures pretty much the balance of next week in the low 70s. we warm up a little bit as we move into friday of neck week. back into the upper 70s. the kickoff forecast at the linc, 80 degrees by 1:00 o'clo 1:00 o'clock. call it partly sunny, warm, winds out of the in san francisco who faces domestic abuse allegations continues to play. so what's the real deal? >> we need to change our polic policies and our procedures and we need to get some help in trying to identify how to do that. we have state laws that are defendant from state to state. and even locally. you're highlighting exactly the issue. we aren't -- we do not have a clear and consistent policy that will allow to us dole with all of the different issues that are arosing. >> you know the commissioner says he hopes to have his new conduct policy in place it by the super bowl. will your philadelphia eagles be there? >> they'll need better play from wide receivers. that is for sure. to prove that getting rid of desean jackson was not a mista mistake. jackson comes back to the stadium he electrified for his first 6nfl seasons. for some the reunion will be flat out weird. for nick foles it's all good. >> it will be nice to see him pre-game say hism to him and, you know, it will be great. i had great times with him. we had a lot of great games. a lot of great hook ups on the feel. so i enjoyed my team with him as teammate. it will be nice to see him but at the same time we're playing again the redskins. we'll be competing each and every down to beat them and they'll be doing the same thing to us. he'll go out there and be ready to go just like we have to go ready to go. >>
