the restaurant right next to a school. the man could face additional charges because of that. second person of interest now getting questioned in that case. no charges child as of yet. on to your fox first things first. you see all of this orange and yellow on the radar screen that's all moving toward the delaware valley as we go hour by hour, it comes in like a wall tomorrow morning right in time for the morning rush when we wake up we'll be greeted by the rain. late in the morning we take break. maybe even some breaks of sun especially south jersey and delaware. and that will warm temperatures up destabilize this area we could see big storms down through the delmarva area by the afternoon. during the afternoon into the evening some showers and storms popping up. that means a cold front will be moving through to try to dry it out. now here's the timing. 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., the heaviest rain in the philadelphia area and maybe some storms. then we catch a break then between 4:00 and 9:00 scattered showers and thunderstorms and we look at the rain accumulation we're talking between 1:00 and y tomorrow. the severe threat as i mentioned mainly through delaware, you can see the eastern shore of maryland and going southward and that would be tomorrow afternoon and of course the main threat would be damaging winds and frequent lightning as we look ahead we'll continue tonight. showers and storms for tomorrow. temperatures will be rising in the seven day around 80 degrees. but then some holiday rain to talk about. scott and i will be back with the details developing story right now. two counselors at addiction facility in chester county are dead. the cause of death, a drug overdose. it all happened sunday at freedom recovery a facility in west brandywine township. >> our jeff cole joins us now in studio with more. jeff. >> reporter: we were out there. chester county da says it's a dramatic example of opioid stalking and killing pennsylvania residents. to counselors inside an addiction recovery house die from a heroin and fentanyl overdose in this west brandywine home. police were call to the freedom ridge recovery lodge at 1:30 sunday to find the two counselors dead in their bedrooms. their drugs and needles out in the open for all to see. the da says the residents in the house trying to kick their habits found and used the drug narcan to attempt to save one of the counselors. a co owner of the facility disputes the men were counselo counselors. but the chester county da says they sure are. >> well it's a tragedy of at diction. and this is, you know, this is what happens with at diction. >> reporter: but these were counselors. >> they weren't counselors. >> reporter: >> i have to comment at this time. this is attach drug addiction facility who had overdosed and died on heroin and fentanyl. and the individuals who found them were actually the residents at this drug treatment facility. >> reporter: that's the chester county da there. now recovery houses like these are not state regulated. no state regulation here. the da says certainly he thinks they should be. apparently the counselors had bought the drug asked to call police. a serious scare for some people in salem county, new jersey of the last night a lot of television viewers saw messages like this one warning them about a problem at nuclear power >> take look at the protests here in okay brook, illinois. at the mcdonald's shareholders meet wrack the fight for 15 was front and center. mcdonald's did agree at its owned restaurants about two years ago to raise the minimum wage about a dollar higher than the local minimums. but that's not enough for lot of workers. we talked to one of them. adrianna alvarez from chicago. she said she makes nine dollars an hour, does not get overtime because they don't allow her to to get up to 40 hours a week. she also doesn't get benefits and she said, that's just not fair. i asked her, why don't you go find a job where somewhere else that pays better? passing drivers. he's been charged with carrying a concealed firearm. according to the arrest report sullivan told the officer he didn't have permit because quote it's too expensive. he says he's a that every situation should be evaluated individually. when it comes to a precedent i don't think precedents always guide decisions that are made in the future. >> reporter: 18-year-old says she chose to tell school officials she was pregnant in an effort to not deceive her teachers and peers. maddie is 4.0 student who was forced to step down from her leadership positions at school and kept home for two days during an unofficial suspension she says she's accepted her discipline but by not allowing her to walk she feels she's being shamed. >> you can't be pro life but then refuse to support the girl that keeps her baby. >> graduation is in just about a week. if the school refuses to let maddie walk, she's going to have a separate private ceremony and invite all of her classmates. let's get back to your fox 29 weather authority. as we take live look at center city. as we cross the mid point of the week. a lot of people start really start thinking about that long holiday weekend. what can we expect fort rest of the week and from memorial day? your forecast in 15 seconds. in weather we're talking about improving conditions after we get through tomorrow. we'll take you down the shore where it's looking a little bit gloomy. only a few days till the memorial day holiday. temperatures not so bad out there witness clouds. it's 69 in philadelphia. the high today 72 degrees. winds out of the east southeast at 13 miles an hour. so that on shore flow really keeping it cool even in the ci city. philadelphia in the 60s the same in wilmington and trenton. 67 in millville. but take look down the shore with the ocean water temperature is only in the lower 60s. it's 61 in ocean city. 60 in sea isle. north wildwood 61 degrees. so as we look at ultimate doppler the clouds rolling in from the south. we have showers moving from through west virginia and virginia this will take sometime to move in. we're talking about the early morning hours of tomorrow beginning to see the rain move in. hour by hour one by, 2:00 a.m. in southern delaware. it's moving into to cape may. everything lifts up toward the northeast with waves of rain right through seven, 8:00 o'clock in the morning for your early morning rush. the showers continue through the day but then by noon we get some breaks maybe some breaks in the overcast even through delaware and eastern shore. this will be the best instability for some showers and thunderstorms later as a cold front moves through. this will continue into the evening. not everyone will be seeing the storms but there will be a threat of some thunderstorm. rainfall totals some higher amounts to the north and to the west. but generally between one and 2-inches with this particular storm. close coastal flood advisory in effect down the shore and even as we go up the bay. you can see this is through midnight as an astronomical high tide. high tide down the shore between seven and 8:00 o'clock tonight. minor tidal flooding is expect. what about the holiday weekend? for closer look on that let's send over to scott. what do you think, scott. >> kathy, not a complete washout, but i do have my pick day of the upcoming holiday weekend. backyard barbeques, parades across the area, looks like saturday will be the best day. as we look at ultimate doppler that rainfall arriving tomorrow. it look like we'll good a break on friday. let's talk a little.about saturday. we'll roll that clock. hour by hour, saturday morning looking pretty g so saturday is going to be the dry day but watch sunday morning. we're dry by the afternoon. looking at scattered showers across the area. some of that could linger into your sunday night as well. then as we move toward monday morning, memorial day itself, we start out dry. but by the afternoon, we're looking at more pop-up showers and storms. so let's spell it out for you as we talk about the three-day holiday weekend once again saturday looking good. 77 degrees. by sunday, 75 a 50% chance for those afternoon pop-up showers. then monday upper 70s. we still have to keep about a 40% chance in for those storms. if you're headed down the shore once again, saturday looking like the better day out of the upcoming holiday weekend. only a 10% chance for showers. by sunday 66 degrees, a 40% chance and then temperatures on monday upper 60s we'll go right around a 30% chance for some scattered showers and storms. your travel forecast across the northeast and new england, we're looking at mid 60s in boston. chances for rain on monday. low 70s new york city. low 80s in
