Executive order that applies to a limited group of employees. Employees working for the state who now get the minimum wage 7. 25, 35 cents. That raises to 10. 15 with this executive order. Reporter the increase is largely symbolic because it only applies to state workers and people who have a contract with the state. But today in a press conference the governor challenged the legislature to make the minimum wage increase apply to all pennsylvanians.
