at 11. bucks county manufacturing plant goes up in flames during the height of rush hour. it took firefighters hours to beat back the end tense flames. good evening, i'm dawn timmeney the building was home to several businesses that and that has some employees wondering if they still even have jobs. fox 29's joanne pill lee gee is live at the scene with the details. joanne? >> reporter: well, dawn, this was a raging inferno. a thick black smoke billowing into the sky for sometime the smell was pretty intense, too. but tonight, there is very little left of the buildings. that was home to century old company here in lower bucks county. it took almost two hours before 15 fire companies got a handle on a massive blaze at a metal manufacturing plant in croydon. the thick black smoke blanketing parts of bristol township in lower bucks. >> it was as high as a five-story building. i mean it was like -- you can see the flames like shooting in the air and the smoke, the smoke was so thick. >> reporter: the fire broke out around 5:00 in an industrial area along state road. jessica pena's husband just one of the brave who battled the up steps blaze. >> nerve racking. very adrenaline you shall rush rushed. fire ripping through the roof and everything. it was even more freaky when the firefighters were on the roof and stuff. >> dawn and paul kerr wick watched in fear. their two sons are employees at the century old metal company which does contract work for the navy. >> if they'll relocate and start another place because, you know, they got to continue to work somewhere. i don't know what they're going to do. >> my one son is a welder. my other son is head of shipping and receiving and my brother works in the machine shop. >> it's you have to times. you see this, just another burden. >> yeah it is. >> reporter: it certainly does. the company family owned for over 100 years here in buck county the family that owned this company said to be devastated. fortunately, none of developing story tonight. prosecutors in new jersey and delawar have charged a long long-time youth ice hockey coach with illegal sexual contact with minors in a series of alleged incidents dating back more than 20 years. authorities say walter tracy ferinden coached hockey and ran clinics at the skating club in wilmington and at holly dell ice arena in sewell, new jersey. during '80s through 1994, vest thes say he fondled at least three boys on at least 11 occasions. >> his actions are pretty typical of someone who is engaginengagein this type of cr. there's period of grooming of the comfortable. 51 degrees. dew points in the 30s and winds right now out of the north and west. as we zoom in across the area, mid 40s in allentown. 50 degrees atlantic. upper 50s in dove those winds out of the south and west for most of us. storms well off to the west. but tomorrow we'll have to watch a back door front out ahead of it yeah temperatures top out around 70 degrees. but the cloud cover will event eventually give way to some showers, damp, drizzily conditions. take a look at the forecast by sunday with that back door front to our south. winds out of the east and high temperatures on sunday only in the 40s. so for tomorrow, get outdoors and enjoy it. at least the first half of the day it will be mostly cloudy but afternoon and evening showers with that front dropping temperatures and look at sunday high temperatures only in the 40 that is will set us up for a wet stretch over the neck several days before all is said and done. we've advanced the clock ahead to tuesday at 11:00 o'clock. on average a half an inch to about an inch of rainfall. so for tonight, once again, we'll keep scattered clouds out there not as cold temperatures bottom out in the upper 40s and then planning your day for saturday. by 11am it's cloudy, it's nice low 60s. 70 degrees the afternoon high. but watching out for a couple of showers moving in late in the day and those temperatures drop as well. so across the region for tomrrow, it's 70 in center cit city. low 60s down the shore. mid 60s in the lehigh valley with those afternoon and also evening showers. so here's the bottom line with the seven day forecast. we're talking 70 toll. upper 40s on sunday that wet stretch sunday through tuesday temperatures monday and tuesday mid 60s. 66 degrees by wednesday. then seasonal temperatures for the latter part of next week and another chance dawn for some rainfall as we move toward friday of next week. so enjoy the first part of of the day tomorrow before that rain investigators say 38-year-old woman and her six-year-old son were stabbed to death in the fox meadow apartment complex in maple shade. her husband is the one who made the gruesome diss coverer. the her two children inside king of prussia mall. then took off with the woman's youngest child a boy who was only a few weeks old at the ti time. mall surveillance captured the entire incident. which set
