Im lucy noland. These storms are moving in fast and in some cases they are furious much this is what drivers faced during the commute home this evening as the line of storms rolled through the area. Visibility pretty poor on route 422 in Montgomery County. Kathy orr has been tracking these storms. I guess we better keep our windows closed tonight. Kathy. Unbelievable, luce seem south jersey and delaware really getting hit hard right now. Ultimate doppler were tracking the storms very heavy rain nothing severe right now. But a lot of lightning and very heavy rain moving through interior south jersey, heading into lbi and toward our shore points. Right along the expressway, shamong, folsom and pitts grove moving toward millville, galloway, Atlantic City and of course beach haven. You will hear those rumbles of thunder very soon as these storms move toward the southeast and theyre moving very quickly. Rain cooled temperatures and as those severe storms met the cooler air, down in south jersey and delaware, they have lost some of those severe characteristics. Thats got news. Right now, were talking about very heavy rain the rain rates about half an inch an hour ponding on area roads. Localized flooding is possible and winds gusting to about 40 miles an hour with these storms and this is at least through midnight. Developing to night search for vandals with an unsettling message. Anti Police Messages sprayed all over an entire street in south philly. Tonight theyve got neighbors and police feeling uneasy. Our Dave Schratwieser is live in south philadelphia. Dave . Reporter lucy, these threatening anti Police Messages are plastered up and down 25th street here for about eight blocks tonight police have recovered some crucial evidence in their investigation and the fraternal order of police is now offering a 5,000 reward for information leading to an arre arrest. Only fox 29 cameras were there as police combed block after block of 25th street in south philly monday night after vandals spray painted anti Police Graffiti up down the busy city street. The message itself is disturbing, because its advocating violence against Police Officers. I dont see why you want to kill cops, you know. Cops protect us. Multiple stenciled and spray painted slogans were tattooed on large concrete pilings that support the csx48 line that runs through this south philly enabled. Many of the graffiti postings advocating killing Police Officers, even using a molotov cocktail to inflict harm. People have the right to free speech and to express themselves but what you dont have right to do is vandalize public or private property. Whoever did that, they had too much time on their hands. Reporter desean nichols lives right nearby. He was disturbed by the spray painted slogans left up and down the street. I think its just kids. I think it is pretty disturbing but in this area you see this whole down here is disturbing. Reporter second time south philly neighborhood has been vandalized by this time of anti Police Graffiti at the end of june vandals struck nearby on passyunk avenue. It look to be the same hallmarks as what we saw back in late june around bouvier and passyunk. Reporter detectives and police did recover at least one can of spray paint and two stencils used to make the graffiti. They were also searching for Surveillance Video to try and find out who is responsible for the damage. We certainly have a link between todays episode and what we saw at the end of june. So theres definitely a link there. They need to clean this up honestly. Reporter now, no suspects have been identified or arrested in that earlier incident.
